The main quest was a fairly short but sweet experience. While the translation had a few small errors here and there the game has a charm to it that I enjoy. It's a fairly easy to digest Wizardry experience on an NES Final Fantasy skin. I won't go too much into spoilers but I found that the game did not wear out its welcome for me. The battle music works quite well considering how often you get to hear it should you wish to grind.

All in all it's a solid experience. For the price point I highly recommend it.

The game takes some time to get used to how the dice-roll events play out but it is a charming title with a lot of attitude with its music. Couch co-op can be turned into Steam Remote Play pretty harmlessly! Heck, I've been running with a buddy who lives in the Netherlands with no problem.

I spent the greater part of thirty minutes trying to solo queue after my group of 2 friends got tired of being matched against the same team over and over in a party queue. The game still has intensely unstable and terrible netcode as well as a jarring shift from a 30 fps main menu to 60 fps in battle. Beyond that, summon cutscenes are also at 30 fps.

Introduced with this PC free mode is also apparently a bug that came from the PS4 demo? I was stuck in queue for 5 minutes unable to leave without force killing the game. The same nonsense happened in the PS4 demo and is inexcusable.

TLDR: The game is extremely clunky. Matchmaking is rather buggy and even beyond that I spent 20 minutes in a solo queue once and got matched with two NPC bots on my team forcing me to lose. If I were higher than the default rank I would have lost points, if that matters to you as a player.

I would not support this game until it gets some love from Square itself but I fear this is a cash grab and run situation.
