Scrolling through my steam store page, I come across this game. It's pretty interesting, the art style is sketchy but still cool, and the warnings make me very afraid to play it. I see all the warnings, I looked at their official page and took a look at the full list of content warnings. I do not play horror games, because I am weak and frail and cry like a child. However, something about this game is telling me to just try it. The reviews are cryptic but sing it's praises. The art is beautiful and the trailer is funny yet also enticing. Pushing past my fear, I decide to at least give it a try.

This game was an experience. I felt a LOT of emotions. I was afraid, at first. I decided to start the game as I how I would actually react, like I was the character. Then, I tried to be even nicer, while still being wary. Then, I tried to fight back. I tried many, many different paths. They were all different. All hand-crafted to be it's own, unique, and beautiful experience. Some made me utterly terrified, some totally confused, some very sad, and a lot more complex emotions. All the way past the ending, I was finding new things. That ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ princess really is everything all at once.

By the time I finally put the game down, happy with at least have the achievements and paths done, I realized: this game was a genuine masterpiece to me. The voice acting is impeccable, the art is so beautiful and emotive, the character writing and design is just incredible, the music is so imposing and so moving.

I love this game so much. I have purchased their previous works, and I will continue to support Black Tabby Games well into the future. Do not let this game scare you. This is a love story, no matter how it makes you feel.

the fact that i am still willing to play right now either means that this game is great or i'm addicted...

still is the best game i've ever played before, no regrets whatsoever :)
