The AI art is hella ugly (and its AI art), on top of all the animations having some sort of weird smear. Already takes me out of the game before it even started. Within two minutes the game has introduced 2 separate currencies, plasma and scrap, which both buy the same type of upgrade, damage and health, but just at a different cost. It also does the same thing as FAPI where all the upgrades are in incredibly small increments, making sure that you don't feel any impact when buying them.

A strange incremental game with a lot of screens that barely explain what they are for even if you take the time to read the additional info boxes.

Game looks nice and has good sound design but too much FOMO and other mobile gaming crap. On top of that popups that make you accidentally spend premium currency. Autoclicker required. Progress slows to a crawl after a few hours.

The game completely stagnates at critical breakpoints because of microtransactions. One of the prestige upgrades gives a second helper, but because it's not really better than the helper you start with you don't progress any faster. You can only equip a 2nd helper by spending like 20 bucks on a helper slot which is ridiculous.

Great game but everyone gave negative reviews after a big balance whoopsie that shouldn't have happened but they fixed it after a few days anyway...

Give this a try if you're someone who loves Diablo or if the idea of action packed loot collecting and build crafting sounds like a good time to you.

Game keeps crashing while passing a turn, or randomly while playing. Very frequently.

Last updated April 2021, not a good sign. There's a huge thread about it on the Steam forums as well without any dev responses it seems.

Excellent wave based arena shooter. The weapons are great. Dashes and double jumps being limited makes you think more about movement (although it took me a bit to realize that double jump uses up charges).

Another excellent installment in the Gemcraft series, Game in a Bottle keeps outdoing themselves.

Some things I love in particular, mostly in comparison to previous games:
- New balance is great, your power does not grow out of control from doing a few endurance runs anymore
- Quality of life socketed wave enragement saves tons of spam clicking and you can't enrage that much before getting overwhelmed
- Gem types all fulfill their own roles, instead of having 4 direct damage type gems like before
- Great new towers and enemies, and some unique rare enemy types sprinkled here and there for flavor
- Custom tailored challenges for every level with fixed difficulty
- Choice between regular towers, traps, lanterns and pylons has big impact, great to have some more strategy in there

Must have if you're a fan of tower defense games.

980ti and can't run the game at a steady FPS. Some recent update also deleted all my keybindings which were previously cloud synced

All time favorite.
