After the Dawntrail update I have immense eye strain issues.
Glare (bloom lighting) is now forced on by default with no way to turn it off.

If the years of boring job updates, ignored or removed side content, roles that feel meaningless, gear that means nothing, and a playerbase full of people who whine about the content while forcing themselves to do it because they "need" the gear drops from said content for glam wasn't enough to make me quit this game after putting in years of playtime, not being able to see where I'm going in Praetorium or the Gold Saucer sure is.

At least I could log in and vibe before and look at my character. Now I can't even do that.
Enjoy whining about PvP and grinding for mounts you don't actually like, I guess.

If I wanted to play a visual novel, I'd go read a good one like Umineko or Tsukihime.
If I want to have fun while blowing my eyes out from bad contrast and lighting while also rolling my face on the controller, I'd go play a modern ArcSys fighting game.
And if I want a half decent MMORPG, it looks like I need to log back into OSRS.

Can't believe this was my favorite game. Probably still is. But I'm livid. What a joke.
