This RTX remaster blew my expectations out of the park. The developers who are a team of half life 2 fans themselves have faithfully remade every texture adding bump maps and more, the lighting looks fantastic and with the right settings runs perfectly fine. As long as you have a more modern day GPU. For all means do not listen to the hundreds of reviews saying its horrible or they are getting 0fps or how the original still looks better. Instead go and play it and decide for yourself because it seams people are just looking at it and deciding without having even tried it or changing some settings. Never judge a book bye its cover.

With the what must be recent update to steams music player, this soundtrack has been an absolute blast. The music player is so configurable which works so well with this. I cant get Kane's songs out of my head and im happy because they're just so good. My favourite is definitely the East forrest.
