If you were told to just play the game and you are reading the reviews to see what you’re about to get into, stop now and just buy the game and play it. The story of this game is one of a kind and if you ruin it for yourself by reading a summary or something like that, you are actively doing yourself a disservice.


Getting into the spoilers,
the slow buildup where you speculate what exactly could be causing the supernova was a key part of what made this game really amazing.
Was the Interloper acting as a catalyst for the supernova? It DOES crash into the sun basically right before the Sun explodes… or is the Sun Station somehow doing something to the Sun? So many cool puzzles that built upon themselves. That hope of you being able to do something, looking for anything to stop the supernova and save everything and everybody that you know, only to have that hope crushed by the revelation that you are powerless to stop it, even with infinite loops, having no choice but to face your fate. That twist was SO damn good and pushed this game up from a fantastic game to a must play.

I've not played the DLC yet, only the introductory part, but I'll update on how that goes.

Boneworks is one of the best VR games out right now.
