I've played OW/OW2 for years on Battle.net. The game is definitely rudderless and I think a lot of the recent changes just show that the team in place really has no idea how to guide the game the way the team who was working on this 5-6 years ago did. I doubt the Microsoft acquisition will really help that situation.

The matchmaking is terrible - 60% of your games will be a complete stomping one way or the other, and then another 20% will have someone throwing or ruining the game for some other reason, and then you'll be left with 20% of your games being actually fun. The community stinks and will yell at you unless you play the exact prescribed meta at the moment. It's just not fun at all anymore. Don't bother!

A lot of racists and homophobes play this game and Valve doesn't ban them.

Completely broken, trying to choose any option (Academy, Drive, Build) from the main menu just leads to being stuck in the menus and never starts the game. You have to alt-tab out to close it.

Ah almost forgot, the one screen that does work is the Store. Thanks.
