Tedious? Yes.
Grind heavy gameplay? Yes
Hard to learn what to do/how to do something? Yes (without outside resources)

Yet the real question is: is it still fun after all that?
Answer: F*#k Yeah!

You can literally do just about anything you want, from exploration, mining, and trading; to bounty hunting, pirating, and thargoid hunting. There is a little bit of everything to fit anyones playstyle, so GO WILD!
This game WILL NOT, I repeat WILL NOT hold your hand through anything but the training section. So either you learn as you go, or ask someone who knows....or i suppose sit there doing nothing while you feel like an idiot...or whatever gets your ship moving...

This game is extreamly fun even though the easy difficulty is hard.
Definitely a must buy!

Side Note to Dev: A random idea my friend and I had was a online co-op multiplayer. We thought maybe have both players work on the same ship at a minimum difficulty of normal. Its just an idea that I thought you might consider doing. The main goal behind it would be somethng like "I got offense" from one of the players and "I got deffense" so one person only has to focus on attacking or defending. I think it might add an interesting dynamic. Great game though :) keep it up!

I would have to say this is not the best program to use...

However if you are working with people who are out of state (or country) You can make a project, have them do their thing and (if you buy the $50 version) bounce out what they did to a WAV and then import it to a proper DAW like Pro Tools etc. I have had a friend record a part and then I bounced it out as a WAV and imported it to Pro Tools. It sounded the same as having him send me a WAV directly through skype or email (which usually takes him FOREVER to upload). I'm currently taking a class on recording consoles and we do a ton of mixing on an Audient ASP8024. (FYI I am attending Full Sail University for Show Production)

Lastly this program IS great for beginners and I would have to say that if your really looking to go into the Recording field this is a great first step toward an actual DAW. However if your going to take it to the professional level you need a REAL DAW.
