An awesome game.
The gameplay is composite and varied, being a mix of space exploration , turn based combat, squad based combat, card games, the whole sprinkled handsomely with RPG elements. The most defining feature of the game is the liberty it allows the player to have. There is a story, but you don't need to follow it, and the universe will continue its course wether you're in the middle of the turmoil or just a bystander.

Although it might be a bit difficult to grasp all the concepts of the game at first given it's depth and variety, peristence is handsomely rewarded.

The cherry on the cake is the dedication of the developpers who keep pushing new updated filled with both bugfixes and new content. At this price, this game is a must have.
