played a couple years back, decided to speedrun it and it still holds as one of my fav horror games like i edge to gameplay of this ♥♥♥♥

shooting feels like it has a kick, the AI is suprisingly advanced, and the slowmo thing is one of the coolest game mechanics i've ever seen

As much as I thought this game would be bad, with the anime girls and whatever, I didn't expect such a deep and direct message. I never finished the game because it was simply just Too Much for me because of its extremely realistic portrayal of depression imo. Now I have suffered from it, and it can be different for everyone, but this game broke me. I want to take a second to talk about Cry of Fear, and how the game was trying to portray depression, and I have to say, It did well. But Doki Doki has done it better. Now Cry of Fear's representation is very deep and is mostly just symbolism that really can take people some time to connect the dots. But Doki Doki? It (think) tells you directly and straight on. Just the truth, and while I like the Idea of making people more understanding of mental illness, this game makes me realise the true scale of misunderstanding about depression, and pain that me and MANY MANY others who have experienced the same. And too be honest I wished I had never heard of this game. This isn't the 100% of it, and I don't know why I had such a reaction, (hands shaking, extremely tired) but I hope no one else gets such a reaction as me cus it f*cked me up for a while.
Otherwise yeah i guess its a pretty good game! :steamhappy:

I have more hours in this game than i do have in HL2 across multiple accounts.

People are very funny and the massive 300 player games are chaoticly fun. Worth the price will need microphone for better experience.
