Probably the best card making software I have used so far, and I have tried many. Its easy to use but with most features I need/want right now. I even managed to make good looking cards without looking up any tutorials. Decent amount of templates for frames, symbols etc. with support for custom made ones.

Minor spoilers below:

Act 1 is absolutely amazing, creepy and mysterious. After beating that however, you unlock "new game+" which is an 8bit style adventure and widely different in every way to the first Act. Personally I hated Act 2 and didnt play it, but skipped to Act 3 (press CTRL+A+S in the main menu). Act 3 is similar to the first act but without spoiling too much it has a futuristic theme to it which again kills the atmosphere you start off with so I wasnt too excited about that either.

Luckilly, I found out there is a sort of challenge mode for Act 1 after you beat the game (or if you prefer you can activate it with Shift + K + M), which lets you play the first Act over and over again in increased difficulty and some new cards and other content. So even if you dont like the other Acts you can still play that one.

First off, tons of bugs. Literally the first quest of the game, the one where you just have to climb some cliffs... it bugged for me so badly I flew up in the sky bunch of times and the guy who Im supposed to follow just stood there inside an invisible forcefield. Restarted game, and the quest bugged even more. Eventually it fixed itself when I managed to start a completely fresh new game but after that almost every stage of the game had glitches, some of which required leaving the game and rejoining.

On multiplayer it seemed like the zombies also sometimes sometimes dissapeared for one of us, while others still saw them, or there were zombies but you couldnt attack them.

After nearly 7 hours of gameplay I felt like there wasnt that much combat and mostly sneaking around past sleeping zombies, and when there was combat it felt pretty boring compared to the first game. We got kinda bored after a while.

So all in all, Dying Light 1 was better and I finished it along with all Dead Island games but cant be arsed with this one probably.

Great deckbuilder even at its current early access state. If you like Slay the Spire, Accross the Obelisk, Monster Train etc. you will most likely like this one as well.

Its a fun game for someone who likes Monster Train, Slay the Spire, Accross the Obelisk and other similar card games, with some cool mechanics and quite interesting heroes/decks.

However, after trying all heroes and their starting decks, I felt like theres not all that much customizing you can do with them (very few useful cards for your deck were unlocked during the run). I found myself using mostly the starting cards in each run, which sadly ment there wasnt much replayability value for me. Maybe Im doing something wrong, or maybe the game is just in such an early state still dispite being otherwise very polished and good looking visually.

So. all in all Id say its worth the money but didnt keep me interested/excited for very long. Hopefully future updates will change that, theres definately potential in this game.

Well designed deckbuilder, with surprising amount of depth and synergies beetween the cards, heroes and their perks. Been mostly playing with a friend, with both of us controlling 2 heroes and its worked very well.

Enemies are challenging, not too easy or too hard. With different paths you can take through the maps, theres also a lot of replayability and things to unlock depending which routes you take. Some decisions you make carry over to the next region as well which is cool. Also, each path you take has different enemy types so with careful planning you can (try to) avoid the routes with enemies that are resistant to your heroes current builds, so there will be less "unfair" losses due enemies being basically unharmed by your damage types, which is a good design in my opinion. Doesnt restrict you to specific builds and cards either this way.

Bosses are also quite different, unique and fun to fight.

We are very eagerly waiting for new heroes and regions :)

(game was in early access during this review and already its quite brilliant with basically no bugs that we've noticed)

So, they added this new feature that automatically skips your phases if you have only instants in hand. Because, you know, you wouldnt want to use a "draw a card" type of instant during your main phase for example.

Seriously how in the world did they think this was a good idea?

And here I am waiting for a fix/change for the next god knows how many months...

Looking at some of the latest reviews regarding A17, I felt like I had to make a review.

While some people seem to think the new skill/leveling system is bad, I have to disagree. In the past you had to do so many tedious tasks to level up certain skill, it reminded me of Skyrim where I was crafting thousands of iron daggers to level up smithing. Its just not fun. Now, no matter what you do you get XP for it and you can distribute your skillpoints to any skill you want. As far as I can tell, currently mining (for example) is just as effective way of leveling as killing zombies. I feel its a big improvement and makes the game more fun to play.

What comes to the AI being smarter than before, while it might not be very "zombie-like" to find the weakspots like that, it does make the game harder and thats something I always wanted from the game. Because to me, only the first few bloodmoons were somewat challenging but after that it just got easier rather than harder. This time around, we actually had a near catastrophic attack at the later days and I was having more fun than ever.

Only complaint about the new update is the fact that I cant pick up my flowers by hand anymore :D and thats just a small thing.

But TLDR: The games awesome if you like building, crafting, resource gathering/management and base defense type of games.
