Hazelight studios let their writers cook stuff and made sure it would be added to the game.

its a must play for all co-op lovers, specially if you are a fan of the studio's previous games.

+ The mechanics have improved, so has the fun

+ the finale chapter was purely - Split fiction and left me in awe (without spoilers)

- Mio's sci-fi stories did felt bit pale in comparison to Zoe's, but there is an explanation for it as well, but this was what me and my frnd felt

My Score - 10/10 - yeah i'm a sucker for a good co-op game and playing with 1 + 1 braincell

Playtime - around 12-14 hrs even if going for 100% achievements (with guide)

a lovely - Vibe and Vaporwave Aesthetics game with mechanics mix of exploring and puzzle, murder mystery solving with visual novel like dialogs with cardboard like NPCs.

I fell in love with this game when the intro song plays after you leave your house and do the superhero landing to solve the murders and other mysteries of the paradise #24

When Love Dies, only thing remains are the facts

+ OST, man it just hits you hard if you are a fan of city-pop/retro/vapor-wave, fantastic work by Epoch and vocals by Fiona Lynch
+ the whole art, environment & world building
+ interesting main character, Lady Love Dies
+ Even NPCs are fun and each have their own evil intentions, which makes all of the suspects
+ story and mystery of the island and its people
+ evidence collection and assignment (you can auto-assign via settings)
+ Shinji is the best

- initial traversal can feel tiring but since the map size is not that big, explorers or people who find 100% collectables will be fine with it.

TIP - unlock Lady Love Dies' 3 abilities as soon as you possible for faster movement and platforming

A nice and fun retro "boomer" shooter inspired by doom like levels and area unlocks, had fun killing the heretics and Purging the unclean for the greater good, for the emperor.

had some issues with enemies swarming you and then them being bullet sponges, which can be a bit of downside but then we shall know no fear and Victory is but a prelude to the next battle.

enjoy this game, buy it on sale with the DLC (forges of corruption)

Coming to this title after playing Automata felt a bit boring but the story picks up its pace after you get Kaine as party member and delivers the same experience, emotions, twist and fun you had in Automata.

Its a prequel to the events of Automata by 1000s of years(dunno exact number)

- the tedious repetition of getting the fragments and then the whole final boss level, i get it what Yako Taro was trying to show i.e world from other's perspective but truly it was cumbersome and boring at some point.
- for me the game picked up pace after you get Kaine and Emil in party before that i had my on and off days with this game.

A cool, chilling and relaxing game about climbing and reading stories of a lost civilisation and taking our cute companion to the top through the 4 biomes and 5th is the final location.

- had issues with saves, had to collect all the collectables after i finished the game and clicked new game by mistake, should at-least allow the collectables to be registered, anyways that's my particular issue

A great follow up from GRIS, with similar art style and lovely OST, with more added combat and more puzzles. This beautiful and emotional game is made even more fun by having a cute yet ferocious companion.

- few boss fights and platforming to get flowers are bothersome/difficult but not a progress breaking

Really love this addictive fast paced FPS shooter, as the plot says you need that sweet dopamine to survive and this game delivers that to the gamers.

+ multiple difficulty choices to allow everyone to enjoy this game ( be it without time constraint or permadeath).
+ 90s anime visual art and aesthetic
+ synthwave music, even the main menu vibe is enough to hit that spot.
+ Loads of easter eggs and direct references/usage of them.
+ Weapons choices, character and enemy upgrades are great, yeah even the Joke Gun is fun

~ not sure its a con or done on purpose but the levels have similar layouts, its more visible and can easily learn if you are trying for endless mode.


Story on easiest difficulty can take around 2 hrs(more or less), so think with your pocket before purchasing.

But definitely try this game,
