I rarely write reviews, but Path of Exile 2 deserves it - im getting close to 1k hours and not a single one has been in vein. The game is challenging in all the right ways and rewards effort and planning. I really hope they stick with the slower, more methodical gameplay and continue the trend of fast, thoughtful patches like we've seen in 0.2. Keep it up, GGG.

An amazing RPG where you chose the outcome of the whole story. There are many options and many ways to go about.
Its alot of reading and alot of problemsolving but its worth every minute of it! The game has about 15-20hours in total gameplay (excluding the reading time) and yeat its one of the few RPG's that have made a huge impression on me and ive played RPG's since the 90's.

Pro:
- Great storytelling/line
- Easy navigation/quest overview
- AWESOME characters, items and lore
- Have potential for alot of DLC's
- Replayability with totaly diffrent outcomes

Con:
- When you finaly get those uber items, the game is almost over.

So, for anyone considering this game i would like to point out a few things (first Beta phase).
- 4 races of 8 are selectable
- Researtch is huge
- No indicators on what u need to researtch to get specific ship later on (invade planets, i discoverd it by luck)
- Alot of pressing "ok" when your fleet and planets starts to grow
- There has to be stuff in production all times (unless u wind it down to 0 in the goverment of the planet) that you need to have adressed or you can not pass the turn

Exept for these 5 points the game has HUGE potential and i see myself dreaming away in singleplayer allready for hours in end. Its a very fun game and the money is worth it. but be aware of the things above, they are very timeconsuming atm.

For 10 dollas u get some of the lore you crave for MTG alltho its lacking in the storytelling (scenary/sound). This game is not campairable with other version of MTGO, Heartstone or table MTG. This game has a soulpurpose to introduce you to the game, mechanics and lore. They have sprinkled some shinny effects on the game and mechanics to make the duels more intresting for the younger audience.

Anyhow, if you are a deep lore diver or a MTG nerd, this game is just for entertainment in another envoirment. Its purely casual and the best way to learn MTG, but be aware that MTGO and DotP are 2 complete diffrent clients, so once you have learned how Magic works, you should switch clients if you really wanna go for it, DotP is a casual inctroduction version of MTGO.

This is a stepping stone to MTGO. The 10 dolla pack and campaign is totaly worth it.
