While the DLC adds some flavour and fun things to the game, 30€ is way, way too much for a DLC. It gotta have a lot more content to live up to that price tag. If you find it on sale, don't hesitate to buy though.

This game could have been fun but they didn't work on it enough.

The actual race simulation is horrible and it's really ruining any sense of immersion. The cars are running on "train tracks" and when they want to overtake they just shift to a different "track". It makes it look very clunky and weird and it's not at all realistic. Slipstream and dirty air doesn't seem to be modeled at all so it doesn't matter if you're close to an opponent or far away.

The safety car doesn't function properly. It doesn't let lapped cars go and it doesn't collect the field. If you are unlucky you are caught on the other side of the track and your whole race is ruined. Also, the VSC has bugged a couple of times for me and the oponents are running faster than my drivers to a gap that was 0.7 seconds before VSC was 5 seconds when it ended and the whole rest of the field was bunched up behind me.

When in the pitlane if someone comes behind you your driver will wait for this person to pass before going out, even if there is a space to go out. This made me loose 7 places on a hectic pitstop when the rain hit. There are lots of little nags like this that really ruin your race experience.

Another thing that bugs me is the lack of information regarding some things. When there is rain you have no clue as to how much rain will come, apart from a little icon with a rain cloud and some drops under it. Is it 3 mm or 8? I have no idea. When the rain comes, the whole track is affected at once and once, there are no zones or wet patches.

When you get a yellow flag it's not clear where the issue was. There is no indication on either of the maps on where the yellow flag zone is. Also i have never seen a yellow flag affect any times in quali etc, so i think the AI just keep the pedal to the floor despite it being yellow.

I could go on and on about all these little annoyances but to sum it up i'd say that the game is okay but it's far too simple to be a management game and i don't think it's really deserving of the hype. The engine needs a lot of work to be able to properly simulate a race.

When this game was released it was pathetic, an empty husk of a game and i was so pissed off i put it down for two years. With the DLC now it's a entertaining game but it's with a bitter aftertaste that i admit to liking it because it shouldn't take several DLC to make a game good.

If you have money to shell out on DLC and enjoy relatively complex strategy games and WW2 you'll probably have many good hours of fun ahead but the game in itself is not worth the money.

I've been playing games for the better part of 3 decades, and i can honestly say that this is one of the best games i have ever played. In the first hour or two it didn't really capture me but as i kept digging in the story and the characters i became hooked. Obsessed even.

The writing in this game is *out of this world*. It's beautiful and funny and strange and original, sometimes all at once and the fact that this whole game is voice acted really brings the writing alive. The setting and world building is unique and well thought out and not a single NPC feel generic. They all have their place in it.

The game was created with passion and vision and it reminds me of a time when gaming was not all about franchises and sequels and DLC and money. If you're even remotely into old time adventure games or games that tell a story, you *can not* miss this. It's such a treat, a real treasure of a game and i can not recommend it enough.

Very enjoyable game, might not last for hundreds of hours but for a discount price it's well worth picking up.

I've been playing Total War since Shogun 1 and this is one of my favorite TW titles. It's a bit scaled down and some of the features are annoying but these annoyances can easily be fixed by downloading a few mods and then it's a really solid game. I don't think this deserves all the negative reviews.
