incredibly charming! very short, but very satisfying. i love the art and the simple style. and the story made my jaw drop! nothing particularly challenging, but still extremely enjoyable. can't wait for the sequel! i'll be gathering the rest of this dev's collection when i can.

if you are a big fan of the point n click genre, do yourself a favor and turn on commentary when you are doing your 2nd playthru of this game. it's entirely optional, there's no chievo for it, but it goes into some really amazing depths in what the scenes are trying to portray and how the writers / developers came about their understandings of these dark and cryptic topics. i missed a LOT of the underlying content in my first playthru. but hearing these life stories and having a better understanding of the life experiences that brought writers to these interpretations is really awesome stuff. it's made this game a lot more profound than i initially thought and i am enjoying it on a whole deeper level. this game has some really strong underlying concepts and i have a lot more respect for it after listening to the commentary. it's always such a pleasure playing these wormwood/wadjet eye games! and this one does not disappoint.

much more Fran Bow-like than Sally Face. but still packs quite a punch. i love all the connected universe easter eggs. even tho the game is not a direct sequel or anything, if you've played the two I mentioned you'll see the nods. i can't wait to play more from these guys!

also a very easy 100%. can get in 1 play if you save scum, but without that it takes 3 plays. well worth. i cried for both endings. even when i knew what was coming.

i also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE her voice. it's the voice we used to make for my service dog, Hash, and i adore it.

it's a great game, don't get me wrong, but if you got here because you were looking for a cute little point n click to follow up Fran Bow, BE WARNED. this game is SOOO much heavier than FB. by a lot. i was not ready for the level of intensity this game brought. it's really well done, but damn. my heart hurts. bravo devs!

i love all the different styles it dives into at the end too. beautiful art. and an awesome metal soundtrack. probably gonna have to replay this one a lot.

quit for almost 2 years but came back for the Monkey Island stuff. so far it's really good! can't wait for the rest of the Tall Tales. the captain stuff is cool too. really enjoying my ship deco's

as a NON destiny fan, who only plays because the squad does and i go where the team goes, i have to say i'm actually enjoying this expansion. i like the aesthetic, it's nice to stray from the boring same ol mechanical armor look. the city is beautiful. the jolly silver giant Nimbus cracks me up. i guess the story is what people are upset about, but i never could follow this game's story so that doesn't bug me at all. you get the same weekly grind, and extravagant sparkle explosions, and they even boosted the QOL of the UI by a ton. i'm digging it.

well done you guys! this ticks all the nostalgia boxes, has the same quirky comedy, the same goofy charm. and the new art style is great! fantastic voice acting, sounded so similar to the og. i even caught a bunch of feels in the end.

AND it's got some great QoL stuff for a PnC game. like the dialogue rewinds, or the double click run, or the recap if you don't play for a bit. and chievos! i loved every moment.

if u are an oldschool Monkey Island fan, pick this one up! they did awesome
