Soccer with cars sounds a rather bizarre concept by itself. Yet it's nothing compared to soccer with rocket-powered cars that are capable of barrel rolls, bicycle kicks and even short-term flight. That's Rocket League, a competitive 1v1-4v4 soccer game with cars that you have complete control of. The game possesses an insane skill-ceiling, the gameplay is pure 100% skill-based (You only control your car, which you have complete control of and the game is played by raw physics alone) and there will be no excuses for your loss - which creates an combination of extremely addicting fun that you can play from a 10 minute session with 4 friends in split-screen to 5 hour marathon of competitive online play.

The game is easy to pick up, but difficult to master. The current top players possess years of experience from the predecessor; Super Sonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, or SARPBC as even pronouncing the name requires years of practice as well. The game however, is insane fun from the first game, and the satisfactory feel of your very first goal does not go away. Since the game is pure skill-based with no passing assistance or anything, just plain physics each game will want you to come back for more. Rocket League is the undisputed King of "One more game." Did I mention the game features cross-platform support, so you can play with your friends who game on Playstation? Yes, you can now play with your peasant friends.

Now, I could write further to praise the greatest community the game has, or the developer team who's dedication to it's fans has been something to applaud for, I won't. Instead I'm going to say; Throw your bucks on this, it'll be the best purchase you've done in a while.
