The art and animations are mostly pretty good.

Besides that the music is kinda bad, especially if you've been listening to it for a while. The game is very easy then suddenly gets very hard when you get to the house. Some jumps seem pixel perfect and require backtracking to try again, with waiting for slow moving platforms. It's a big open exploration area and there's no map or fast travel as far as I could tell so far. Got bored with it pretty quick, then frustrated. Not a good flow.

Some of the most gamiest gameplay ever. Many weapons, many items, tons of fun, lots of replay value.
Fantastic quality music, visuals and sounds. A densely packed quality fun game! Highly recommended.

The music was the only good thing about this game.

-End level sucked, Megaraph Fleet had better music and feel
-Unnecessary and pointless extended story
-Super Spark is slow and Tower Climb is just boring filler
-Later bosses were lazy and had stupid amounts of health
-Levels rarely had branching paths, also no collectables, Discouraging exploration
-No Level flow (Watch Speedruns of S:TEJ, they are almost constantly fighting the level design. Then compare it to Freedom Planet where the level flow almost too well.)
-Stupid Powerups that alienate the player and rarely have contextual use in the game
-Levels are too long and drag on forever, especially the later stages
-Bugs everywhere, Time Trials record longest time instead of shortest
-Developer doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ (Passion Project my ass)

You know there's some truth to what I'm saying if you've played this.
