Excellent story. Great gameplay for detail-oriented people. A bit short, but every minute is worth it.

Game is mostly fun as long as the performance issues are not too disruptive to you.
- Farming is nice and straightforward.
- Good variety of creatures to battle and collect.
- Variety of quests too.
- Combat is simple at the start and complex towards the end. For example, depending on your build you may be able to do 50% or more of a same-level enemy's hp on your first turn, which is pretty cool. Sometimes it feels like those modern yugioh tcg games that end in 1 or 2 turns because some builds can do a lot in one turn, if they have the right cards.
- Some spirit builds feel stronger than others but I think that's fine as long as they're fun, just having all builds deal equal damage isn't inherently fun or exciting.
- I like that you can grow crops that grant XP to your spirits, like if you could grow rare candies as a plant. This gives an avenue to build alternative teams without having to grind XP on them through battling. The XP scales with where you are in the story so that it's hard to overlevel unless you are hardcore optimizing your schedule to grow as many crops as possible. This is unlikely on your first playthrough of the game because you are still learning the ropes.
- Music is nice although there are a limited number of tracks in the game. I'm alright with this personally.
- Art is nice, I really like the portraits. More NPC animations would be cool to have.
- Some things are not explained in-game so I looked it up online, like when moonstones naturally respawn. All basic info and info needed to advance the main story is explained well, though.
- I wish that when buying seeds in the store, it told you if the seed grew in water or on land.

There may be some performance issues such as lag or stuttering depending on your playing device. While I sometimes got stutters, they were so infrequent that they didn't bother me. If you're more sensitive, then you'll just have to play this game for a bit to feel if the performance is good enough for you personally. I played on both my PC and steam deck and it was playable on both.

There's currently no definitive end to the game that rolls credits, since the devs are still working on this game I believe. But once you complete the main major quests that's the end, everything after that is collecting everything in this collectathon.

If you read other reviews and the game description, you'll see this game is similar to other games like stardew valley, rune factory, pokemon, and hearthstone. This is true, it is a blend of mechanics from these genres. Lucky for me I like all of these genres so this game hit the right buttons for me.

Overall I recommend this game because combat is fun, the creatures are neat, the villagers are a group of different people with good characters, and there are some funny island shapes.

Fun, short game where gameplay is placing items in the way you find is right. For 99% of the items, the game accepted the place where I put them. It's cool to see this person's life change each time they move to a new place, as well as what items come with them each time. I like pixel art too. I played through the whole game on a steam deck and everything was fine, although it's hard to pick up narrow things like a specific book spine in the middle of a stack of books.

Gameplay is moving to different islands and trading things to make a profit, and there's not much tutorial or handholding to get in the way, you get started on it within minutes of starting the game. Story is minimal but that's fine. Graphics are good enough to tell what things are, and I personally like pixel art. There are minor UI issues that are annoying, like how some popups cover important info I want to see. Also the entire game is about trading and making money, with some minor level up mechanics and a couple overarching quests, so if you're not a fan of the trading gameplay it will quickly feel repetitive.

Personally, I thought the game was fine, so I enjoyed it, although I also played this in short bursts, I didn't grind through it in a day. The beginning of the game is slow because you don't have a lot of upgrades, but if you enjoy the trading part in the first 30-60 minutes, you'll enjoy the rest of the game. Also I played through the whole game on a steam deck and it was fine on my system.

Game is okay. Graphics and music are great. Sound effects are also on point, which is important since as a cat you make a lot of cat-like sounds. Story is alright, although like most story-based games I play, I wish there was more lore at the end of the game talking about or showing what happens to everyone.

Gameplay is being a cat and exploring the world, as well as a few chase sequences. The cat things you do, like meowing and scratching and running in front of other people, is very funny but mostly does nothing for advancing the story. The big thing that being a cat enables is jumping on different platforms to reach a destination. The jumpable places are not immediately obvious, but once you develop an eye for which environmental objects are jumpable then navigating the world is easier. There's also some collectables and sidequests if you like the worldbuilding and exploration.

Also, I got into this game expecting a comfy cat game, and for 80% of the game that's true. For the other 20% that's more intense, I was thrown off by them, with one place in particular stopping me in my tracks. "Why am I here in this place, doing this thing? Where's my cute cat game about doing cute cat things?"

In the end, I still had fun with this game. But in the end, I wouldn't call this game a cat game where you do cat things. I'd say this is a game about exploring a sci-fi-ish, cyberpunky world from the perspective of a cat. I do recommend it though. Also remember to check the game settings before you start the game, for some people there may be some settings default to off that you may want to turn on.

Puzzle adventure game with meta themes of game development. There's lots of audio clips and cutscenes scattered throughout the game. The gameplay experience is pretty interesting, strategizing on the best way to pass an obstacle. The story was good and actually tied into the gameplay, I just didn't pay much attention personally. The gameplay is driven by the plot. Overall I recommend the game normally, it's a different experience from most other games.

Fun game overall. Art and audio and graphics are good enough, they were enjoyable. Gameplay is usually fun but sometimes repetitive or boring. Some actions you do dozens of times, and when you see the unskippable animation that often it's so dull. Around midgame and endgame I actually started listening to my podcasts while doing these chore tasks. The platforming is alright, although I wish there was a minimap when you land on an island. Game was mostly bug-free except for one thing that constantly bothered me, I can't double jump if I'm holding left or right into a wall. The exploration is cool because most of the islands have their own atmospheres so they actually feel like distinct places. Early in the game, I started getting overwhelmed by all the things to do and explore that I had to stop and force myself to focus on one thing at a time and ignore everything else.

Story and character are the best part of the game, meeting each character and learning their quirks is super interesting. In early game you meet the type of characters you expect to meet in this kind of game, but as you play through the game you meet a plethora of individuals that each have their own background. None of the characters felt like repeats of another. I'm sure every character is someone's favorite, I know who mine is.

Gameplay-wise, playing this game is like playing a factory game, except your workers keep retiring faster than you can go out to scout new workers. But story-wise, playing this game is like meeting a person from every corner of your life, and also some corners you've never seen before.

Short puzzle game about unlocking boxes. The majority of puzzles on the boxes are easy. That doesn't mean that every puzzle only takes 2 seconds, but more like you don't need to solve some complex math equation in your head to figure out the puzzle. There's also a nice variety of puzzles, I didn't feel like like there were many repeats. The boxes tend to have themes so puzzles relate to the themes, which is cool. Graphics and atmosphere are on-point, they are mysterious but not spooky. Story is so-so, I don't have any complaints but it wasn't spectacular. That doesn't matter because I'm playing this game for the puzzles, though. Overall I recommend this game.

The stuff that this game has is nice. The graphics are how they look on the cover, soundtrack is nice to listen to, and the puzzles are interesting and the main selling point of this game.

After beating the game there's a new game+ mode, which rearranges the location of some puzzle elements while keeping the same overall levels. I wasn't really interested in this part, but it's nice that the option is there.

There's technically a story in the game, but I didn't pay too much attention. The majority of the story comes in the force of a faceless narrator speaking at certain places in the game. The text felt like it was more intended to make me feel a certain emotion, than to tell me what was happening in the game, who I was, what the end goal of the game is.

Any downsides I feel about this game are minor. Some animations take time and are unskippable. Sometimes I wish I could move faster because I know where to go and how to get there, it just takes time for me to go all the way. Also you can rotate the camera in-place but you can't move the camera to observe your location from a different angle. In general this last point is not a problem because whenever you get to a new place you can just pause a second while the camera adjusts itself, I've only had one place where I wanted to see what was behind a wall but I couldn't. Also, I'm happy to say that I haven't been in any location where I soft-locked, so that's good.

Overall, I mildly recommend this game for puzzle enjoyers.
