One of the top 3 games I have ever played. A great piece of art I would say, world of Fallout 4 is unbelievably detailed and large. Story of the game is never-to-be-forgotten and the apocalyptic feeling is unique. The game has a special atmosphere and I agree it may not be for everyone or feel strange from the first sight, but if you give it a try, I'm sure you will get into it and Fallout will find a warm place in your list of favourite games. I loved Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas as much as I loved Fallout 4. This is the game, when you should not rush through locations but take your time, and pay attention to the dialoges and other things such randomly found notes in abandoned shelves, as these can often start a new side quest or provide valuable information to one of your side quests. Here I have to emphasize the quality and importance of side quests in Fallout, which are as great as the main story quests and you will surely miss alot, if you plan to skip them. Most of the side quests are special, they have their very own story behind them and aren't stereotyped (For example quest: Kill 10 ghouls. - There aren't any boring side quests like that.) What some players don' like is the idea of settlements. This is another topic to discuss but know that if you don't like building or decorating your very own house - or base, you can almost entirely ignore that part of the game. I also didn't like it from the start, as there were really a lot of new things and I was confused but eventually I have found my way and I really liked it. You can build and decorate your settlements, attract more settlers - assign them to work in your farm and cultivate your crops, which you can gather later and used as a source of HP regenaration and other materials. You can decorate your base with trophies of enemies you have killed - for example you can craft a dissected head of deathclaw or supermutant! You can also connect all of your settlements with suppliers and then you can access your gigantic storage of things (because your inventory is limited) from any settlement (if it's connected to the place where you store particular items), craft various defensive machines like turrets, craft storehouse for your new and old power-armours with electric doors etc... It is really a lot of fun if you find out how everything works and it's worth it. Another new great thing is improving, crafting and dismantling weapons. I could write an essay, but to sum it up, I would say these are the cons and pros:

PROS:
- Amazing storyline
- Great and very interesting side quests, which are sometimes very well hidden in remote locations or started by unexpected ways, such as finding a note on the ground of abandoned house
- Very long play time, if you enjoy the game and don't rush
- Very interesting and unique way of building and decorating settlements
- A lot of possible modifications for weapons
- Power armours offer amazing possibilities and benefits in combat
- Great world / map
- There are some really good DLC's and mods
- Unique apocalyptic atmosphere
- Many quests depend on your choice and have different endings
- Good system of leveling and perks

CONS:
- Sometimes there are strange options in dialogues
- May feel complex for new players
- V.A.T.S may also feel unusual if you didn't play Fallout before

There aren't really a lot of cons which I can find and I am surprised that the reviews are mixed.
