Down to the catchy music and the screen transitions, everything in this game will remind you of the good old days of NES action platformers, without the troublesomeness of continues and having to start all over again. The savepoints are plentyful and well placed in order to reduce the frustration of having to do that hard part all over again (although the game still has its share of tricky parts). Metroidvania done right is what this game is. Faithful to its source material (every sound seems to remind you of The Goonies 2 or Megaman). 10/10 would recommend.
