This is an actual scam for 4 characters and a few costumes you get way later in the season, but since Im an SF fanboy + certified ♥♥♥♥♥♥ I paid for it.

However would strongly advise to only buy if you are a big fan and as dumb as me.
SF6 otherwise is fantastic, but whats on offer here is terrible value for the price, plus 4 characters a year (only 2 SF characters) is legit awful - no I dont really care about World Tour implementation, the game does not need more of that, more chars instead definitely is welcome.

This game is literal crack, Hades was amazing - this even tops that. "Just one more run" which then turns into 5 more...just put it in my veins.

Best current FG, no contest.

Dang what a disappointment this game was, as a huge fan of Dead Space I was hoping this could somehow live up to the mantle of that game but no, it doesnt even come close.
The game looks absolutely amazing and I won't even comment on the performance, it is playable with DX11 and tweaking some settings but doesnt run amazing - while its a real shame the devs shipped it this way, this is something that will be fixed with one or more patches. Any other settings will make it stutter in a near unplayable fashion.

What they cant fix however is the horrendous gameplay design they have going for this game, I honestly have no idea how designers and directors looked at this awful soup and were like "Yeah okay, this is definitely fun and engaging, lets go with that". The gameplay loop in combat is legit one of the worst systems I have played in a long time and Ive played a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of games; the amount of jank and odd implementations it has is mindboggling. The entire combat falls apart as soon as there are more than 2 enemies in the area targeting the player. It makes me wonder what the devs were going for with this kind of system; what they desire the player to do.
Making this a slow melee focused game with a few ranged weapons that arent distinct was truly not the way to go, especially not if you compare this to the combat of Dead Space 2 - the difference is jarring. Just one more note, the camera work in combat is frigging abysmal, it has its own way of thinking and moves it at random mid-combat, putting enemies completely out of your LOS at random.

I think the worst offender is that the game just does not feel fun to play, the mechanics do not make it fun and from seeing the environments in-game and on streams there doesnt seem to be much interesting going on. I am not engaged to explore or play more, obviously this is entirely subjective but for me it just doesnt work.

I truly regret giving this a negative since I would love more horror'esque games in this genre and I was looking forward to this one a lot but it simply is not fun nor is it interesting outside of combat. I will probably end up buying it at a very steep discount at some point, but full price this is a huge U-turn.

Superb "boomer" shooter, great visual style, a hefty variety of enemies (though a bit more variation in ranged projectiles would be cool), nice oomph to the weapons and player feedback. Solid difficulty but could be a bit harder, this is just nitpicking though; for an EA title this game already feels extremely polished and looking forward how they flesh all the skills/talents out.

Phenomenal if you are into this genre, would recommend.

The "Mixed" reviews definitely don't do this game justice, most of the complaints are "its too hard" but honestly, it really isnt. At first it may seem unfair since you run into an encounter that woops your ass but once you start getting the hang of how all the systems work and how to use the devil's powers correctly, which paths to go and when to portal then this game flows like water.

I truly hope they put in some kind of "radiance" mode to please all the people crying about difficulty and not touch the base game because after unlocking some abilities, relics and even characters the balance starts evening out tremendously.

Absolutely great roguelike that mixes a lot of different things from other games and has great production values, for $20 this is a no-brainer if you like this kind of game, seriously.

A true masterpiece, one has to experience it profoundly in order to understand why so buy it now.

This game is legit greatness, it blows any of the competition in this category out the water. I havent had this much fun with an FPS in singleplayer in a long, long time. Best €13 investment ever? Possibly

First BR im actually enjoying but Hi-Rez needs to cut down on the kneejerk patching with sweeping changes constantly - and yes I realize this is an alpha but losing the identity of the game in the progress of patching would be bad. Still a very enjoyable game so far and thank ♥♥♥♥ for no building skyscrapers during shootouts.

Great concept, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ development, execution & everything else. In hindsight I wouldve preferred wiping my ass with the $30 over playing this.
