I must not micro-optimize my bridge. Micro-optimizing my bridge is the mind-killer. Micro-optimizing my bridge is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my overbudget. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the overbudget has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

i wish they was an option to zoom in without changing resolution, i'm on 4k and the grid is very small unless i set resolution down
otherwise, goated.

requires an account? this game came out in 1920, you didn't need an account when grandad played it on the Amiga

i don't have a problem with the level design itself or anything but there definitely needs to be a setting to turn off the way it automatically corrects mistakes. if i click somethin wrong then i want to figure it out myself, not have the puzzle spoiled

beat it in 3.4 hours and it was short but felt very dense; it felt like it was much longer.
graphics are amazing, i love the n64 aesthetic. however the menus/UI (especially the font) don't fit the aesthetic and feel very tacked-on and unappealing.
the movement feels very clean and has lots of options. it's not AS clean as like super mario 64, but overall still pretty good.
map design is good, although once or twice it felt a bit samey, and slightly underutilized as a metroidvania. backtracking is not as useful or interesting as you would expect, and you'll rarely need to "turn around and come back" as is common in many other metroidvanias. i didn't really get a good mental map of the world like i would in something like dark souls 1 or something. that might be because the game is so short, but its still a downside cause learning to navigate the larger map is one of the best parts of games like this.
combat is just okay, it feels like many of the enemies shouldn't do contact damage though. the final boss is very good though, visually and in gameplay.

overall VERY worth playing even though it's not perfect. unique and fun
