Great follow up after L4D2. Much more complex, cool modes, great features, a lot of fun. Dunno why reviews are like that tbh but Im looking forward to playing Back4Blood2. Yes Im a believer. 10/10

I recommend this game but not in its current state. Wait for full release. I like the game model and gameplay loop. I don't like melee combat and AI but this most likely it's going to be improved. Can't wait until it releases =]
Most people giving negative reviews are right about bugs and lack of end game content.
Most people hating the game in reviews don't know what early access means.

I havent played such a satisfying, dynamic, beautiful, fresh shooter for a very long time. Witchfire combines everything you love in FPS games. I love the movement, weapons' responsiveness, objectives, side objectives, easter eggs, logical tasks and basically everything else. And SoPeL for gifting me this masterpiece. What a great game. If you've been tired of developers messing up every game you wanna try out recently, this game is for you. Have fun! 9.7/10

TLDR:
Balance is terrible right now and devs take very long time to do anything. Sometimes if they do it's still useless like buffing Rogue last patch. Don't recommend the game right now...

REVIEW:
I wanna say I enjoyed the game so much that it was the only game I played for a fair amount of time. But right now its SO NOT FUN that I decided to post this review. If you're thinking of trying out the game for the first time - don't do it now. Game is free it's definitely worth to try it, just not now. Why is that?

Playing SOLOs can result in one of 3 scenarios:
- most likely you're gonna face Druids with ability to see you through the walls and they will follow you until you have a fight just to approach you as soon as you're finished fighting your opponent so you get 3rd party and die instantly (cool, now he can loot both bodies for free and stay in the zone forever because of unlimited healing from his ability),
- likely you're either gonna face top tier geared Cryomancer who's so overpowered that even a 10yo kid given his items would win the fight against any kind of sword-wearer player or gonna face top tier geared Druids who will either dodge the fight if they are gonna be in a bad spot or just kill you effortlessly if you make 1 mistake (very fun battles those are),
- sometimes you're gonna get full lobby of Rogues, Druids and some newish players using swords and all of them with low tier gear and again its not fun because you dont gain much (also killing newbies lead to them quitting the game and the cycle continues)

Playing TRIOS can result in one of 2 scenarios:
- if you play without Priest, you're gonna lose so don't even waste your time,
- if you play with Priest, you're only gonna enjoy matchups against teams with Priest as well, you will smash everyone else

Maps cycle between one and another. Devs don't want people playing what they like. Instead you are forced to play one map for 24h and then you can play the other map for 24h. What a dumb system...
Heirlooms (items that you can craft basically for free) are that good that it doesn't even make sense to go on a raid without them so you can craft whatever you like and you don't need to collect those pieces of gear for the rest of your life because Heirlooms are that good...
You can roll a dice randomly throughout your equipment and whatever piece of gear it lands on it can't be looted so you can roll this thing forever on your one and only legendary/unique item and you will never lose it, meaning you also won't be able to loot it from someone you skillfully killed...
Druids are in the game just to see you through the walls and 3rd party you and Rogues are in the game to collect loot and avoid fighting... Delete those classes or hardly rework them and it's gonna be playable...
2/10 but still better than Dark and Darker

Cool extraction looter-shooter PvPvAliens, might be tough for new players but on the other hand you get basic loadout infinitely for free. I've played every playtest and I think current state of the game is fine. But I still miss The Cycle: Frontier...

Edit: unplayable anymore. discord server and community is a joke as well

If you subtract whole cheating ♥♥♥♥ from the game... undebatable the best looter-shooter ever existed...

Been the best 0.4 hours in my life. So far.

10/10. Tyle czekałem na tę gierę no i się doczekałem... i nie zawiodłem. Totalny wypas. Jak ktoś ograł jedynkę i była spoko to teraz dozna gamingazmu. Oby tak dalej Techland :))) no i giga props za brak Włoskiego dubbingu!!!
