Series has improved even more. Pulls some of the best systems of MoM and HoMM3, and then throw in some Endless Legend and CIV.

If you want to play a remake of New Horizons, then it is really good at this.

But damn, what the hell is up with those MTX prices??? They open with like 5 different "Battle Passes", and the cheapest one is $40?, and that's just for 1 of them. The pricing compared to what you would see in other Gachas is just absurd. Luckily I haven't needed or wanted to invest into any of them, as I'm playing on Utopia Ocean the Peace server, and that is the only saving grace until the prices are fixed, if not even just done away with.

A good alternate to the classic civ formula. It's designed different, and thus isn't really better or worse the Civ. It's more like comparing Dr Pepper and Mountain Dew than Pepsi and Coke.
