Wonderful sim, but gets old fast if you haven't got any of the x-pacs. Fortunately the modding community is still alive and strong for this 6-year-old game, which really really helps to keep the game fresh. Gorgeous graphics, relaxing sound design, and is really the ultimate sandbox simulation game that also requires engineering skills and accuracy.

Supremely fun game to play with 1-3 buddies. It combines horror with fun sandboxing �  la Minecraft. The world is gorgeous and the story is super interesting.

One critique I would offer is that the game is almost impossible to finish without using online guides.

Solid benchmarking tool. The comparison tool to see how your benchmarks compare to other users is web-based, and isn't as powerful as it could be. The ability to compare your own results over time isn't clearly evident. That said, the actual benchmarks themselves are intense and do a good job of stressing both GPU and CPU.

One bug they desperately need to get rid of is that one of their background processes to monitor system data / temps / diagnostics continues to run after you close 3DMark. This screws up other system monitoring tools you may be using (for example, HWMontior thinks my idle CPU temp is 70C a half hour after ending 3DMark.)

All said and done, it is an effective tool for the price.
