The perfect game for screaming at your monitor like you've just been TK'd on Dust2.

A must-have for anybody interested in motorsport. The game runs well even on my current budget rig (AMD Athlon X4 760k, AMD R9 270, 8GB DDR3) and is easy to pick up and play with a controller. The game allows you to pick from a wide array of cars and tracks, and gives you the option to change each car's setup to your liking. Mod support means that you'll have plenty of community content to mess around with as well. DLCs also add more cars and tracks if you're serious about the game. The only negative I can think of is that people report a lot of "rubber-banding" and other latency issues during online play.

So infuriatingly difficult that I had to gouge out both of my eyes.

Carrying on from the genre-defining MilSim that was Arma 2, Arma 3 is a rock solid sequel that lives up to the expectations in place for the Arma series, even managing to go a bit beyond in certain aspects. As a great fan of Arma 2, I love Arma 3 and the improvements BI have managed to implement into the game. As well as showing off near-future battlefield tech in the game to help accurately represent the game's time period, BI have also managed to develop great maps, interesting gamemodes (Wasteland) for online play, and still manage to maintain and improve upon the fun level of realism that made Arma 2 so popular with MilSim players. The modding scene is also very active, with mods such as ACE and ACRE out there for added realism and more 'serious' MilSim players which allows the game to be expanded upon a lot. Be warned however, the game isn't shy on performance and requires a decent rig to run properly even on mid-range settings. My only major whine about the game itself is the developer's choice to release the campaign in a series of 'episodes', drip-feeding us content and missions. But as each episode is released, this negative becomes less and less of a factor. I'm giving Arma 3 a 9/10, and deffinitely recommend this game.
