Game is great in single player, terrible in Co-op. Desync is very common after just 1-2 hours of online gameplay, items don't appear for your co-op friends or animals will only appear for you and not for others.

This needs to be fixed asap because the game is really fun!

Truly abysmal launch. Can't get in any of the servers, only managed to play for 15 minutes at best before the game bugged out and crashed.

Overall, really enjoyable. VERY long story which is ok, you definitely get value for money on the story front. But as a semi-casual player it seems like the story will never end XD. Game does crash sometimes but its infrequent.

An open world survival game that dares to be different! Sure it has its problems, minor but frequent glitches are my main concern, but overall Icarus is a very atmospheric experience with missions that teach you the game while dropping you into tense PvE action.

The mission system is quite good, but its unclear what you should actually spend the money you receive on, or what "exotics" even are. This is from 65 hours in game, and I still haven't got a clue what exotics are but I'm sure it will be explained later on.

The open world and outpost modes are a great place to hone your skills and build cool creations, because everything you craft and build in missions is lost forever once you evacuate following mission completion. This system is kind of bad, definitely takes away a bit of enjoyment, however the devs have found a good way to balance open world and missions in an upcoming update where you can seemingly pick any mission in your open world save.

Overall, this game is early access and to be honest it does show sometimes. However, the updates are weekly and tend to add interesting features or important bug fixes. I will continue to play this game in the future and I hope many others will discover this game as it gets closer to release!

TL:DR - A shockingly poor attempt at a "close to reality" Driving Simulator. Either wait until it is on a very large discount or until the game has been significantly improved.

Video Review: https://youtu.be/6P0K9qTj1uw

CityDriver claims to be "realistic" and "fun". It is neither... The driving does not feel realistic and is worsened by the almost non-existent force feedback effects. The force feedback is either completely off if left on default settings, or merely a self centring effect if turned up to maximum.

The cars look really nice to be fair, they have been modelled in high detail and the textures on them look good even when you zoom in. The city however lacks sparkle (maybe this is just because Munich is really like that?) and while it is indeed 1:1, almost none of the inner city streets have been modelled. You are stopped from trying to drive down side-streets by massive white X markings, which are seen on almost every street.

In terms of gameplay CityDriver is a huge letdown. The game promises fun missions and the ability for the game to be used as a training tool. The missions are nothing more than drive from point A to point B, as expected, but that's only if the game decides to let you have a mission. As far as I'm aware most of the missions cannot be picked up, you have to be lucky enough to be given one randomly.

While the game is certainly a graphical step up from the likes of City Car Driving, the game runs poorly on my 2070 SUPER/64GB Ram/Ryzen 9 5900X system. Stuttering, graphical pop-in and poor lighting effects are very common.

Asking £29.50/€34.95/$34.99 for this game is a complete joke, it should be half that IMO. The amount of content you get and the lack of actual gameplay make this little more than a glorified tech demo. And why are there even paid DLCs on release day? Who is going to pay over $8 for a Porsche SUV or a Mercedes Van in a game? Just get the deluxe-bundle if you *really* want them.

Do not buy yet. Wait for a sale or future updates that will hopefully turn this game into something more than another Aerosoft flop.

I think I'm done with the game. Spent many years not spending a penny on the game and then finally gave in it about a year ago. Now I'm at Rank 5 vehicles and jets in particular, I find it almost impossible to earn enough money to recoup the costs associated with repairing damaged vehicles.

Even if I get several kills (in non-premium jets) I barely break even. This is clearly a way to force dedicated players to spend money on premium accounts or premium aircraft, or even worse just flat out buying the overpriced Golden Eagles or Silver Lions currencies.

Can you even truly call the game F2P at this point?

While it's not open ended and more like a classic text-based RPG, this game is charming to the max. It's also a good way to learn about political ideologies as you'll come into contact with and be able to adopt policies from right across the political spectrum.

DayZ has grown into a beautiful experience with hardcore survival elements. Since its full release in 2018 there have been frequent updates, which have genuinely added cool mechanics and interesting new content. I've really enjoyed spending time on both PvP and PvE servers, and the modding community facilitates a virtually endless opportunity for new experiences in-game.

DayZ isn't without its issues but with each passing update these are beginning to disappear. The game is sometimes buggy and laggy, especially when vehicles are involved. Furthermore there is some content that was cut 5 or more years ago and has yet to reappear such as the bus, variations of the cargo truck, several weapons and more. The developers could work faster to implement content that has been teased or found in the files (why aren't helicopters and boats a thing yet?) but I'd prefer they continue as they are doing now in making the game as stable as possible while drip feeding new content.

With just over 1 hour of gameplay this game seems very promising! Having the whole world map to play with is great as you can choose to redraw your local rail routes or copy them 1:1 - it's up to you!

There is a good sense of challenge as you have to find the best routes to build, as crossing rivers with viaducts or building tunnels under towns is costly. The economic aspect of the game with ticket pricing also seems to be an aspect you will have to spend a lot of time on in game.

On launch day the game seems to be playable and enjoyable (even in multiplayer!), however I think there is a huge amount of unrealised potential in this project. Definitely one to keep an eye on as the current game is somewhat lacking in features right now but is still very enjoyable. I am looking forward to see what the dev will implement in the future!
