How to moderate the Steam Community (Steam Support guide):
Things that you can't upload under any circumstance:
- AI generated image of a bird with giant, tennis ball looking testicles
- Soyjak version of the image described above

Things that are allowed (i.e. received continuous automated responses from a ticket or reports did nothing):
- "Loli" (LITERAL Cheese Pizza) artworks, conscientious objectors and avatars.
- Other pornography on TF2 sprays and decal items
- Thousands of images of pornography uploaded as artwork
- Groups celebrating "MAP pride" (Minor attracted person, both groups are still up)
- Groups about "raceplay" (Hundreds of groups like this)
- Uploading porn onto the steam points shop
- Comments containing people's real names
- Artwork containing photos of people's houses

I understand that a lot of the content might be filtered, or at an age range of something like 18+. This is redundant. Kids and teenagers will end up on this platform regardless (I made my first steam account when I was 12, and I'm 19 going 20 now) and it should be the duty of the steam moderators to remove this content when uploaded, and the duty of the rest of the steam user base to moderate themselves and the content they upload into this platform. After all, you wouldn't demonstrate any sexual behaviours or say anything explicit around a school or a playground, would you?

None of this content should be hosted by steam, especially when its uploaded by a single person or group of individuals who seem to stop at nothing to spread this imagery or upload it on signs or sprays or whatever else. The freedom the internet provides is ruined by these bad actors, and it shouldn't be the job of someone like myself or other, like minded individuals to bring this to steam's attention. They should be banning these people as soon as they're uploading such content. Especially in the case of TF2, where the images you see attached to people's decals are stored as temp files in your own computer.
