At roughly 50 hours. Game complete. Attempted a 100% completion run (without guides). Managed 46/52 achievements. I wanted to try and get an idea of the entirety of the game before I gave any type of review.

Would have likely enjoyed this a bit better if I had not played any of the prior Dragon Age games. Gameplay and skill systems are fun and shine better than some of the previous titles in the franchise, however the story and dialogue are very bland. At no point did I feel tied to or attached to any of the characters, to include Rook (who you play as).
It felt more like a tv series spin-off of a blockbuster movie where you're introduced to the B-team.

I'd recommend the game if you just have an RPG itch and this happened to be sitting in your library and you have run out of other options to play.
I wouldn't recommend it if you're very invested in the Dragon Age story and lore. (or just looking for a good story overall)

TLDR (6.5 out of 10 since people are obsessed with ratings):
Pros: Combat + Gameplay Mechanics. I'd argue best in the series
Cons: Story = It was incredibly difficult to not hit the skip button during every social encounter.

Had a shoulder injury that prevented me from being able to work for several months (Aviation) and this game made those months feel like days. Great gameplay and story with "choose your own adventure" dialogue similar to other games like Dragon Age, Witcher III, Fable, etc.
Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a story/adventure style game.
