It's fun, but being free to play really really limits how much you can play/what modes you can play.
Worth giving a try if you have some friends who are down to try it with you.

Fun to burn some time. I came back to it recently after many years of not playing. The game is more complicated than you think, it doesn't really explain some of the underlying game mechanics such as higher severity giving you more DNA points for infects.

Many custom scenarios to try as well.

I played previous versions of SM many many years ago on android, and to be honest this PC release feels at most like a decent mobile game - definitely unpolished, but still definitely playable and addictive. Some features such as paying gold to sign players and constant barraging of in game purchases makes the game a bit ugly, but overall it is fun for any football fan with a few hours to burn.

The tactic customisation is okay but nothing special, and given its a free game its alright.
I played this mainly because FM25 did not come out this year.
Overall I would rate this game a 6.5/10

i mean its a cool idea and its executed decently, its just that matchmaking is so unbalanced as the playercount is pathetically low (average around 200 concurrently as of 2024) and i don't see it increasing anytime soon.

There's just not much content at all but it can be a decent bit of fun with friends in private matches, but not exactly something you would play a lot of - it's just a bit too niche and the price without a sale is quite steep for something with so little content

warzone in 2020 was better than this bullcrap

Literally movement, graphics and gunplay feel WORSE than warzone 1 on the modern warfare 2019 version. Oh yeah, and somehow i get like half the fps that i got on warzone 1 even though the graphics in this game are hot garbage.

Why not just keep that? You make enough money already without releasing a rushed new game every year for a cash grab.

It's good, but could be better.
Timer and todo is nice but would be better if you could schedule daily todos as a part of a schedule instead of unticking the box for complete everyday.

Would be a nice feature to add something to track your consistency of days you use the game.

Music is nice as well but more stations would be nice.

Design and art style looks great and the price is just about right.

tldr: if you've never played pg3d before, now is not the time to start.
Loads of iconic maps have been removed for no reason, and unless you spend an absurd amount of money you will get rekt by everyone else. Even if you do spend money ur still gonna get owned by cheaters.

At its core it's still the same game which was one of the most successful mobile games ever and as a kid I spent countless hours on it, but the battle pass updates and introduction of ads and offerwalls has ruined the game.

It's just disappointing that such a successful game which had such a big community decided to sell out for money and ruin its game.

It's barely playable in its current condition and probably only worthwhile to come back to relive some 2015 memories.

you don't need to know much about dnd to enjoy it :)
