lost a run after 5 hours and lv 16 to a legendary sightless mind person who set me on fire, made a bunch of plants pop up around me, confused me, and then spiked 60 damage in one turn before I slowly widdled the rest of my 30hp down over the subsequent turns.


10/10 starting my next run now.

This is a good game.

The Storytelling is good, the combat is good, the voice acting is good. Quests have impact on the world around your and your decisions matter.

The character models are not great and look awkward at times. Sometimes your character moves in weird ways.

Despite its flaws, this game is alot of fun and if you want Obsidian's storytelling and decision making, its here.

Fallout wasn't always popular. A team worked on and created fallout because they loved the settings, loved the characters, and loved bringing that to life in a video game. There has been alot of fallout media created because of the imagination of a couple of people.

This game ruins that love and memory, and puts a price tag on all of it. The best thing about this game is the map. The map looks great and they did a great job with it. But everything else falls apart.

The technical issues I faced :

The combat is janky and not fun. You'll get hit and it will act like your mouse stopped working. Enemies will act like laggy call of duty lobbies where they suddenly flash and hit you. Sometimes enemies can hit you without even spawning in.

I think part of the problem for this game is that the server stability sucks, and there isnt a way to change that. The servers I was playing on had issues loading areas, enemies, NPCs, items, and other people.

The greedy company practices are so prevalent it makes me sick to look at.

I played for roughly 8 hours at this point. I was making maybe 10 - 30 caps per hour. I needed some more Fusion Cell ammo, so I found an ammo vendor. I had 400ish caps, and needed Fusion Cells. A SINGLE FUSION CELL WAS 12 CAPS. TWELVE!. So for the 19 cells I could pick up, would have cost me HALF OF MY ENTIRE CAPS. 228 CAPS. AND IT TOOK ME 8 HOURS TO GET THAT MONEY. FOR 19 MORE CLICKS ON MY WEAPON.

The Atomic shop is a joke. There isn't just cosmetic stuff. There are repair kits, Lunchboxes for increased XP, CAMP objects and blueprints, CARRY WEIGHT BOOSTER (This ones a big deal, you cant carry ♥♥♥♥), CAPS, and more.

The daily missions are garbage, the battle pass is garbage, and this game ruins the spirit of gaming and is Bethesda's way of "cashing in" on their Intellectual property.

Don't support greedy company practices like this.

Game slaps. Great puzzles. Huge metroidvania. Exploration is rewarded. You won't get all the puzzles. Heck you probably won't even realize you are looking at a puzzle half of the time. Do it. Buy the thing.

A fantastic addition to the Survival Horror genre. Combat is gritty and real, every situation is deadly, and the pressure of fight or flight make the environment feel dangerous and intriguing. I highly recommend this game to any of my fellow survival horror fans. Simply put this is a must play if you like the genre.

New School Shooter with Old school graphics. Can even increase/decrease pixelation levels. Very fun game, do reccomend.

Birth a short but fun adventure. The puzzles are good while straightforward and the immersion manages to tell a story about (I believe) connection and the memories you make during your journey through life. Cherish the friends you have, and make new ones (maybe not as literal as in the game) when you can.

If you are worried about the price, this game delivers a unique experience. If you like puzzle games, you'll like this game.

Elden Ring is a great adaption of an open world format. Things they do right are Environment, Sounds, Combat, and immersiveness. Environments are big and tailored and full of like and wonder and just beautiful scenes. Where the game falters IMO is in questing and overall balance. Quests do exist in the game but alot of times you have to look up a guide to know where to go or where to pick them up. and also later in the game you will fight alot of things that can kill you very easily, even if you are "overleveled" for the area. The game is a masterpiece and I recommend everyone play it at least once. Its extremely approachable and easy to fall into yet hard to master. It accommodates for all play styles and you will likely find your "favorite weapons" and find a way to smash that square peg into a round hole because you are particularly fond of the square peg.

Elden ring is probably the most dialogue heavy of their games. There's story of love and lost, power that became corrupt, people who are fighting for what they believe in but failing, and people just trying to get by. There are many stories in elden ring, and the story you as the protagonist face does take a while to become apparent. Fromsofts storytelling is a little different than typical games, but it's very there. One thing that's nice about the game is your choices in the story affect your ending. Fromsoft is also very good about creating amazing personalities to interact with

Honestly a really fun game. Puzzles are challenging and exploration is fun. A very good survival horror game and well worth the wait.
