Strongly do not recommend. I did not run into any controller or other functionality issues as other reviews have mentioned while on Proton, but the whole game is <40min for the 100% completion and has some of the worst platformer and level design I have had the displeasure of playing. Horrible collectible placement that encourages intentional deaths, overzealous fall damage, and jump physics that cause failed jumps if you bump into a wall/platform, 0/10 would not play again avoid buying or playing.

Great translation of the 2D factory builder into the 3rd dimension. I mostly waited for 1.0 and if you have been waiting as well NOW is the time to start playing. Wonderful use of early access and community feedback to polish the final product.

My single warning is the brick wall you hit in phase 4 is brutal. If you are not expecting it you can feel like you are spinning your tires just trying to get one of the many moving parts setup for the space elevator. Phase 5 is a relative cakewalk in comparison and I could see it being a roadblock for many players.

A masterful execution of the concept proposed by the first game. It won't be for everyone, but for those who enjoy this flavor of game it is amazing and I highly recommend.

Simply a masterclass for secrets and unlockables design. The feeling of "Hmm...something is off about this room." followed by the inevitable secret room or hidden item is immensely satisfying and persists across the entire game.

Perks and archetypes blend well to give a variety of play patterns and progression. Weapons land well, however armor and rings have a small hiccup with the former feeling like pointless stat modifiers and the latter becoming almost overwhelming in variety and useful/uselessness.

Overall it accomplishes what it set out to do and I love it for it. Very highly recommend and will live on in my favorite games list.

Respawn had a good foundation, an amazing game, and a dedicated fanbase. Those concepts have been slowly corroding for quite a while and the choices made when success was starting to slip away did nothing the right the ship instead feeling like a last shot at earning a buck.

Apex Legends as it launched and the following golden age is up there with some of the all time greats. Apex Legends as the games as a service is no longer that. Avoid this sinking ship. Do not be milked by this husk of a game. I had already un-installed before the Linux/Deck block, but I find some sadness in the fact I am now unable to return even if I wanted to.

My do not recommend is based one one single factor currently and that is the complete lack of customization for colors on the notes and drums. The default selection by the dev is absolute hell for someone with colorblindness. Two or three presets tailored to the common forms of colorblindness would solve the problem instantly and would flip my current stance on this game.

As for the gameplay itself I found it to be well executed and satisfying to drum along. For anyone without colorblindness I would suggest giving it a try/buy.

Simply staggering what this game has grown to be. One of my favorite multiplayer sandboxes of all time the only hindered by the steep curve of a harsh PvP world + the real need to have a crewmate. The minimal FOMO content and the focus on cosmetic progression instead of power means I will always return to sail the seas once more.

Cute and straight-forward puzzle game. Great visual design and has good quality of life features including a generous rewind, checkpoint, and level select. Aprox. 3hrs to 100% complete, great to try from a bundle(got it from Dec 2020 Humble Choice) or sale! No issues playing on Linux throughout.

Amazingly fun and engaging rhythm game with polished mechanics. As long as you like the "wubs" and rhythm games I highly recommend.

Stretched aspect ratio does impact gameplay, if enemies or projectiles seem unreachable sometimes make sure your graphical settings are correct.

Fully playable on Linux via Proton!

Terrible controls, visuals, and gameplay. No options and a buggy mess. Do not recommend playing outside of card drops.

Halo Multiplayer has returned(and on PC!) This is only covering multiplayer as of this time. Highly recommend for gunplay, design, and balance and it is completely free at that!

Words of warning as of this review playlists are extremely limited and don't offer much in the way of preferences and the cosmetics and battlepass systems are possibly the worst in the industry. If you go into Halo go into it for the shooting and multiplayer, not for custom armor or progression(stick to Master Chief Collection for that). Looking forward to campaign and Forge mode soon™.
