So the game is unique, as far as the "ballpoint" style.. and the sidescoller shooter portions were fairly fun (protip: melee weapons are awesome).

EDIT: So the section of the review below was written prior to TheDestroyer's response to my review, which pointed out the toggle between keyboard and mouse control. While I still think the ability to switch back and forth is COMPLETELY NECESSARY for the last part of the game, I feel it's a design oversight that would have made a lot of the game more enjoyable. That said, the game is entertaining and appropriately challenging in the shooter bits. Again, TOGGLE BETWEEN KEYBOARD (for platforming sections) AND MOUSE (for shooter sections) or you will probably be as frustated as I was!

Left for posterity, but largely ignore this part:
But around the time you're "looking for a ship," the non-shooter portion of the game starts with what would be trivial platforming sections... that wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't for the game's awful control scheme and the fact that you "bounce" off walls if you try to jump up to a ledge against one. The platforming control scheme is literally "move the mouse to the left of your character to move left, right to move right." Trying to be accurate is very difficult, and when you combine the little aforementioned "bounce" you're very frequently falling off the world, which sets you back to the last checkpoint (often far away). I got this game in a humble bundle, so I'm not that mad, but that control mechanic rendered what I assume the last portion of the game frustratingly unplayable for no reason.
