Is this game good? No. Is this game fun? a little. is this game historically significant? Yes.
This is the worst game of all time. It is the one of only game to revive an award for being the worst. (The 2004 Golden Mullet award)

A waste of time and (in game) money.

This game is a slog to play. The game play loop is unbearably grindy and unsatisfying. The only parts that aren't a grind to get through (the class races) are annoyingly hard and require a maxed out car for that rank with expensive tires to even be competitive on easy. The lack of a rewind mechanic also wastes Your time. One mistake or unlucky moment forces you to restart the race to even have a chance to win. Also your car can stall out and depending on your car's power it can take up to 30 seconds to restart your car.

Unranked races are even worse. They feel like they are meant to be done with top class cars, unless you're fine with abysmal payouts. Free drifts at low rank are unfun and frustrating. The lack of power and the microscopic areas you have to drift in make it plain unfun to do. Not helping is the fact that drift stabilization cannot be fully turned off. Even if you do okay you make little to no money and xp is basically nill.


It takes hours to make any decent money in the game and it disappears quickly. EVERYTHING COSTS MONEY. Whatever you do in game you feel like you're wasting money. You have to pay for gas and tires to be able to drive your car. If you're buying regular gas and the cheapest tires that's at least 3 races of work. If you wanna be competitive though you’ll be paying over 20,000 for gas and tires (more than some cars). Just driving around casually you are wasting money as tires wear out and you burn gas in free roam. Unless you're racing you're wasting money. On top of that selling cars costs you at least 1500 because you can’t sell directly from your storage. You can only sell from the garage app which costs 1500 to access each time. You have to spend money just to enter a mod shop either by wasting gas and tires to drive there, spending money to fast travel there or paying every time you use the mod shop app. Due to the fact that you can only adjust your car settings at a shop, you have to pay multiple times to dial in your car's settings or just deal with it.

This game has the grind of a mobile game despite being a single purchase title. It needs to be massively rebalanced for pc. Until then I can not in good faith recommend it.

This game doesn't feel like its 20 years old.

This is a cute and relaxing fishing game my initial review was made out of haste and frustration a friend got hurt. After talking about it, its mostly a nothing burger and just a coy joke that wasn't meant to spread hate. It doesn't diminish the fun you have in the game (infact people are using it a a neat goal to unlock). so yeah if want a cute lil fishing game this is a good choice.

The amount of creative freedom in this game has be massively expanded since the first one, I've see people recreate real life home and home nightmares with this game.

Fun game with surprisingly a lot of realism mechanics for a game from 2002. Also the race and final level weren't that hard at all.
