Don't believe everything that is said about the water mechanic in the game.
Don't believe everything that is said about the spawns.
Don't believe everything that is said about the tanky enemies.

There is a learning curve to this game and it doesn't take your hand at any point in time.
There are mechanics in this game that function contrary of what your first instinct as an fps player tells you.
There are sneak mechanics that are better used when putting obstacles between you and the possible enemies, others where you have to move at a dead angle from said units. also there Are units that won't engage unless fired upon. You are not worth 200 credits of bullets in the liver to them. There are units that will falsely charge you but flee if you are just facing them without firing.
Sometimes there are, indeed, buggy spawns. Hell, the game is an early access... that ♥♥♥♥ will happen.
But more often than not, when spawning, you get a few seconds to flee before getting attacked (the ? over the units)

The water isn't as scarce as some would let you to believe. There are spots in levels as well as mission offering enough water to not be annoyed by the water thieves at low levels.

the core of the game is to loot and avoid conflict. Best case, you don't have to fire once to get in and out of a level. that's is the goal. Not be spotted and eliminated. Not become rambo. and if you do, well, at least you upgrade your weapon's level and get new attachements.

Some enemies are elite, some enemies are grunts. Learn to use your spotting ability (letter V) to determine what kind of enemies are coming your way. don't attack up front, try to land 1shots headshots picking units one by one to avoid alerting the whole platoon.

Be patient. Water first, then missions, then upgrades

Started playing this game and had a bit of fun as i liked it as Poker night at the inventory but with bluff and murder/suicide. And then the toxic brigade of morons calling racial and homophobic slurs got in...

That's it. That game is now ♥♥♥♥ until the give a way to deal with this problem.

You play the game, you finish it, then you do all the collectibles and the secret characters and all that jazz and then you finished the game 100%.

AND THEN, you go to sleep.

10/10 will wait for more again

Game was good, now it is ♥♥♥♥. never before have i seen a revamping of the skill system that made so little sense.
zombie path AI is now ridiculous. it went from stupid zombie to precogs zombie. Their strenght has multiplied tenfold to the point they wreck your base in seconds, the crafing is now a nightmare and you cannot even used barrles to slow a horde anymore, they are impervious to explosions as from now. But the worst of all is building a base for days and when they bloodmoon comes, the game gets unplayable because it cannot manage the lighting, the objects and the entities being in the same place as you look at them...

I loved it pre A17. I cant recommend it as it is now.

I hear a lot about Megaman but the game mechanic is closer to Gunstar Heroes (Genesis) and the Contra series than anything else. It's a Hard and gorgeous run n gun platformer. you will sweat over your pad i tell you. Graphically it's gorgeous. It's All the 30's WB "Merry melodies" meet "Walt Disney" and have dirty sex on the keyboard of a computer and as both of them climax, this game pops on screen. Higly enjoyable, having a blast, crazy cheap for a game this quality.

10/10 - I can't wait to see this game speedran.
