Best game I never paid money for.

Nice teaser and I'm curious for Crows Crows Crows actual/next game.

I'm not entirely sure about this game

Pro

• good for coop: riddles and stuff to talk about
  
• dark, sometimes morbid humor (well, it's Double Fine)
  
• interesting background storys for the characters
  
• nice graphis (at least for me)

Con

• short
  
• I don't like it when a game forces you to play it more then once to see everything AND sends you partially trough the same areas. kinda cheap trick to make it longer
  
• it's awkward in coop that everytime one player isn't on the screen he loses control over his figure (no split screenscreen or zooming out). sometimes there is only one player playing while the other are....watching
  
• you have to choose 3 characters but basically you most times play only 2

Good Beat em up with serious issues.

First I have to say: I only don't give it a recommendation because of the buggy port. Else I would say: yes.

Pro

• A lot of the best heroes from the DC universe
  
• Nice cineastic story mode and additional single player missions
  
• A lot of moves and combos
  
• Interactive maps

Con

• The Slow-motion-bug (because of the bad portation - see other reviews for infos). Even if you have a good pc... and even if you turn every graphic option on low...it's still slow..
  
• Annoying elements which shall keep you playing (unlockable skins, avatars etc)
  
• Fairly hard game
  
• Not much diversity in multiplayer

Good tactical Action Shooter with a dumb AI

Pro

• Nice apocalyptic alien invasion story
  
• 60s - perfect time for that
  
• some elements of choosing your way
  
• XCOM!
  
• XCOM from the perspective of the soldiers
  
• The inbetween levels-sections remind me of Mass Effect (a lot of talking)
  
• fair length

Con

• The AI is sometimes really annoying. Enemies keep rushing forward and your soldiers need constant orders to keeping them from dying (and they'll get wounded a lot)
  
• The RPG-elements are too reduced to be much versatile
  
• Though there are severaly classes of soldiers you only really need two through the game. Same is true for weapons and addons
  
• Game and levels are extremely linear

I love the game

Pro

• The fairy tale art style (reminds me of Fable) and beautiful landscapes
  
• The interesting controls (playing both brothers at the same time)
  
• Sad but nice story
  
• Interesting riddles

Con

• Short (But I would say it's the right length)
  
• Perhaps _too_ easy

well, just another CoD...
(advise: I've only played single player)

good:
- longer than other CoDs (Missions are about 15 to 30 minutes = ca. 7 hours for all. for Modern Warfare 1 it took me about 2 hours to install and 2 hours to play..)
- some more open levels, even one to sneak. and driving a tank and flighing a heli is nice.

bad:
- story is boring (and unrealistic)
- gameplay is boring.... on normal I found myself more often on sightseeing while the other squard members shouted for me but...hey, you can take your time^^...and the rest is just clay pideon shooting. and I'm not that good at shooters! and it doesn't really matters which gun you take..
- combat underwater and in space sucks.
- those damn videos while loading the level...always stuttering...
- like others said: weird textures
- nearly 30 GB ô_O

my fazit: nice if bought under 5 bucks....but for 60 it's just a scam.

good for: people who like Slender and game which force them to play them more then once to get everything.
story: not very surprisingly
meh: you need a Kalypso account as additional DRM
the worst: the controls (either the mouse is too fast or too slow and always moving like a drunk. no fun. clicking on items and opening doors is a real pain) and all those flashing lights. I got migraine from them (really!).

I found it annoying.
