The ideal way to play Gloomhaven. Faithful adaptation of the board game. Saves your group the trouble of dealing with physical pieces or Tabletop Simulator.

The beatmaps are created and fine-tuned by people instead of algorithms. The method of input (punching) is accessible, and a great workout.

Axiom Verge is a fantastic castle-metroid-'em-up.

It hides its secrets in really cool ways. Weapons are fun, unique and plentiful. Great soundtrack and artwork. Made by a single dude.

Its only flaws are totally forgivable; namely, the main character is a dweeb and some of the boss fights aren't so hot. But Axiom Verge delivers on everything else it aspires to be.
