So just nominated this game for GOTY and I have to say i've been with 3Division since they first came out on EA and its been a pleasure watching them slowly build up the game to what it is today. Its one of those games where you can start playing and start learning and the next thing you know you've burnt your entire day away trying to build one factory and getting it working just right!

So for some reference I was hesitant to leave a review in the first few days and wanted to give the server some time to stabilize because i understand server cant just be fixed on the fly. Even though they really should of done more testing then just 150k users. I understand that, that is already a lot of users and would be acceptable amount on a normal game-day. But they should of either looked at their pre order numbers or if they did run off of those whitelist those who pre ordered and put those that are using gamepass on the back burner.

I've only encountered one minor bug (If you can call it that) where skydiving missions are expected to be completed impossible fast, landing on grass runways and turning around counts as entering a taxiway illegally, and in the license check from some reason it auto fails you (Only the task not the greater test) when holding short after landing and asking for taxi clearance. As for crashes out of 8 hours I've only crashed once.

Honestly its not bad at all. Definitely early access and yea performance was a pain (On ultra) but the moment I turned it down to medium it runs like butter! Just wish they would add a server browser!

Abandoned which is sad, game had potential

For a free to play game this has a lot of love put into the first chapter! I would happily pay for more! The voice actors and animators did a amazing job actually making you care about the characters they potray!

Welp... Yet again a big publisher has killed a promising studio. We need to all understand these big publishing behemoth are NOT these studios friends. Let this be a lesson to developers. Be warry of publishing deals!

Not recommending this game at the moment due to the lack of communication

There is alot of misunderstandings of what this game is, its a remaster of a really early 2000s (2000 exactly) game that was absolutely loves. Its early access as they are still working on it but it is already much improved to what the original was. Excited to see what they continue to do with it and what they come up with with the complete remake.

I really wanted to like this game, I've had it since it first came out in 2016. I pop in now and then to see the state but its just not playable, the devs are more focused on playing with their friends on huge servers that they host once in awhile instead of focusing on the game itself. The game has been dead in the water for some time, it's been almost 8 years and they still haven't even gotten the AI to work, yea the vehicles are good, the smoke it good, besides that, that's it. They haven't put any focus into the gameplay mechanics besides "Here's equipment and a fire". Game feels empty. I'm Sorry FlipSwitch, I backed your game and I've waiting for 7 years while you have made a multi million profit.

Its been 5 years without a update sadly it was abandoned

Welp got a chance to sit down and test out the game and honestly its not that bad. Definitely could of used a early access badge but CO did warn it was not to par and also delayed the console releases. The statement they put out is TRUE about PC players not prioritizing performance, hell we have a entire genre of early access titles not to mention that the game seems to run really smoothly even with low frames its not that noticeable as it would be on a game like a shooter. But hey, its your choice, game definitely needs to be buffed out but honestly the bones are there for a great game, after some improvements this is easily going to take over from CS1 given time. Over-hype is a dangerous thing, CO should of known this before hyping their game up so high.
