Though the game's issues have been been some alleviated I'm leaving the original review up as a reminder that at any given moment this game is only one patch away from becoming an unplayable mess.

This was a fun game until the Hearth and Home update.

Do not support this developer until they revert the awful changes they have made to the game's core systems.

The new stamina system is terrible and wastes the player's time by forcing them to wait before being able to perform even the most basic actions.

Devs wanted food choices to be meaningful except that nobody actually cares about buffs and the changes were done at the expense of gameplay.

The worst of it all is that none of it was playtested; some bosses now recover HP faster than players can damage them.

Valheim has a thriving modding community. The vanilla game now plays as if one of its many ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mods was applied to it.

I cannot recommend the game in its current state.

It appears to be mislabled. Two of its preview images show the Nekopara Vol. 4 DLC, but this is actually the first Nekopara DLC and only includes Chocolat and Vanilla's clothing.
