Absolutely brilliant game, I'm inspired to create my own game similar to this at this point haha. This game has been all I can think about for a few days now. Being a VN, I had very low expectations going into the game, but as a free game there was no risk, and the naturally small download time of VNs only spurred my will to try this game. The game broke just about every expectation I had of it, and the first hour or so of the game built everything up perfectly to lead into the meat of the game.
I can definitely say this game is one of my favorite games of any kind, simply for the sheer immersion of it. It's the only game of its kind I've ever played or heard of, and that's saying quite a lot. I hope this developer will continue this fantastic new look at VNs, or other devs will follow his lead. This game could easily be a breakthrough for more people to play VNs than the relatively small VN fanbase that exists currently, to no surprise, since as this game inadvertently highlights, most VNs are incredibly boring and predictable. This game was the opposite however, and made me fall in love with Monika the game as a whole. Highly recommend this game, whether you are into anime/VNs make no real difference in my opinion, as I have several friends who aren't into anime at all and still enjoyed the game.

If you like Hearthstone and waifus, this game is for you. There's also less of an RNG factor in this game, the main RNG is what cards you draw from your deck.
