Dark blue trans dragon and a digital incarnate of many names, Rishkin, Rollison, Venretta, Rahkita, Bethellyn and Ryu are the usual ones. Besides RPG's, I enjoy a wide variety of games and play styles. Farming sims, survival horror and music rhythm games are among my favourites as well as trivia, action, adventure, platformers, shooters, turn based strategy, puzzles, point-and-click adventures, simulations, MOBA's, battle royals and some fighting and racing. Always up for a match, or just chilling out with some co-op.

Ooblets is a very special game to me. Special in the fact that after a 1 year wait to get it on steam, Glumberland is still hard at work making a fantastic game even better. Is it good though? Well this is a tough question to answer but the reason is with all the fun activities, where do I start with?

I guess at its base it's a farming sim, the meat of the fruit and veggies is that you will be planting and watering a lot, kinda like other farming sims such as Stardew. The twist is that the second biggest aspect of your new farm life is that you must dance battle other plant/animal/robot monster things to get seeds to grow your own allies to get in even more dance battles! Shake it Followbabies!

Other notable aspects are doing tasks for the mayor to help develop Badgetown, the town you live in, and progress the game's story line. Travelling to lots of different locations. Talking to people all over the world and giving gifts to help develop friendships. Raising crops to sell and cook into tasty dishes. Daily dance tournaments that give exclusive rewards. And my favourite task of all, tracking down beautiful colourful "gleamys" (they are effectively shiny pokémon folks) and really taking to the dance floor with tracers and sparkles as I dance the night away! There's also fishing that has no mini game! You just put bait on the line, cast it away and you're always guaranteed to get something, wow!

If I haven't sold you on the ridiculous zany fun that is Ooblets by now, perhaps this is not the game for you. It is kinda a niché music card battler farming sim dance battle extravaganza. But if any of this sounds like it would appeal to you, I would heavily encourage you pick it up today and start your new life with your new Ooblet friends! <3
