This game gets a thumbs up from me but with a big asterisk.

It's a slow-paced world-builder, so if you're into that kind of thing, definitely go for it. BUT! The AI isn't great. Sometimes three dwarves will do the job that one dwarf should be able to do alone, and sometimes dwarves just leave jobs (usually those far from their shelter) undone for a long time.

However, it's got cute graphics, good progression, and one of my favorite aspects: if you zoom out enough, everything becomes lower-res but still identifiable, so that you can still pick out a lot of harvestables, etc. It's a feature I wish more games like this would utilize.

This game is amazing. Despite the simplistic look, there's a lot of work done in the sprite animations, and the sound track and story are top-notch. One of the best things about it is its short form (for an RPG; I beat the game in about 4.5 hours and then in another 1.5 hours got another ending and did some post-game stuff) and the fact that game remembers very tiny things that you do, so repeat playthroughs aren't riddled with the same old dialog exactly every time.

Tem out of Tem, would/will play again.

A bit buggy but mostly playable. Matchfinder is good. You can earn enough coins to purchase almost an entire set just by playing regularly during that set's season. And it's possible to build deck archetypes (like white weenie or mono-red) without needing all the rares and mythics, so only a few packs are needed.

The game is missing Planechase mode and other modes other than the quirky 2HG.
