Good game. Easy to learn, still complex enough to not get bored, constantly updated, dirt cheap even with everything, good music, everybody knows Vampire Survivors.

Has been following this game since Greenlight, bought it when it became available and playing it from time to time ever since. As others mentioned, Spintires was the first, Mudrunner the second, and Snowrunner (may appear on Steam I hope) the third. I cannot make an opinion of Snowrunner since I'm not planning making an Epic Store account ever, but the other two, yes.

Spintires was the first. It was awesome, when it came out. Loved the trucks, the mud, the maps, well I had to get used to the controls and the camera, but it fits well. The customization options for the vehicles are awesome, and there's mod support, so if you get bored of the vanilla content, you can install mods.
There was a long (it felt long) pause in content for the game - for me, that was the Mudrunner era - then in the second half of 2019, the game got DLC after DLC.
The latest is the SHERP. Awesome is the perfect word for it. These vehicles feel really different from the other trucks, they give a big replayability for a lot of maps. Amphibian trucks lol. And the map is really fit for the DLC. That bridge got me. Would love to have more maps like this.
And the new patch (1.6) bring tire inflation system to the game (more tools to fight for grip), improvements and fixes we welcome.

I'm no curator or critic, so let me just say, if you like simulators, trucks, fighting mud, this is the game for you.
Even if you don't but got curious, you should try it. Go to youtube, watch some gameplay, this is truly an unique game you should have.

It's a good demo.
I cannot really comment how is it compared to the old ones, because even thought I have them, I didn't yet play with them, excep Gothic 2 for some time.
I've had some problem getting accustomed to the controls, the interaction menu with npcs felt a bit strange to me, but saw worse, but if I want something really fixed first, it would be the uskippable cutscenes. When you first watch them, it's okay, you may need it for the context of the story, but after that, it's just worsening the replayability of the game.
There was one quest I really liked, Clayden's amulet, how your decisions can alter the outcome of the quest, and not some search&destroy, go&fetch quest. If they really do make this game, I really hope to see more quest like this.
