"Money is thicker than blood"
- not me, probably

They should change the category to "Better With Friends AND Family" because I played this with my siblings and I had so much fun blasting their heads with a shotgun LOL. To be honest, my first nominee is Chained Together but in Chained Together, someone's mistake will be everyone's downfall. In Buckshot Roulette? It's every man for himself.

It even gets better when there's an actual prize, my sister's idea, that she regretted soon after LOL. Once she saw that this is going to have a multiplayer, she immediately told us to buy it. So I bought this game just a few days before the update. It was fun beating the dealer in his own game but it's even better when it's your friend or family. Whether you have a grudge or not, it's just fun using your adrenaline to steal their stuff and so satisfying to shoot a live round right after you used the hand saw on it :)

I have so many thoughts about this game but first of all, how dare you broke my heart.

This is NOT spoiler free.

I understand that as an elderly with health conditions, having one cat is already a challenge but these cats are your responsibility. It's not that difficult to own up to your mistake, bring her back to the shelter, and apologize for what you did. It might be shameful but the shelter will definitely understand, specially with your situation. Things like this unfortunately happens, pets being returned back to the shelter and surrendered but this option is a thousand better than leaving your pet somewhere and abandoning them in an empty place. I was so astounded when Olive thought "Dawn" is better off in an empty, open place, with no roof over her head, no access to clean food and water, no comfortable bed, and no place she can call home. Yeahhhh, she's surely better off the streets as a stray cat. Let me move you to another place, surely there's no dogs here but ooooh watch out for other stray cats! Ma'am, what happened to your common sense?

It's just a game, I know, but let me vent a little bit okay? This part just made me so upset. I don't really cry that much but the moment Olive picked up Dawn and brought her back in the car and she started thinking, "It's like how our journey started. You and me in the car. I'm glad you realize this was one big mistake." I was already tearing up but I thought she was returning her to the shelter which is sad but better than being in the streets. But my heart started to break even more when she pulled up near the forest. Please, please, don't just abandon your pets to fend for themselves. If you can no longer care for them because of unfortunate situations in your life, please go to a shelter instead or find someone who is willing to foster them until they find a forever home. I have four cats and two dogs but I will never dispose of them. If I have to go away because of work, my siblings looks after them for me. If they are busy, I make sure to leave my pets in a sitting service or a pet hotel where I get daily updates. I consider them as part of the family.

Dawn thought of that, too.
Olive made her think she had a home.
Olive made her think she had a place.
Olive made her open up.
Olive made her feel safe.
But then, she discarded Dawn.

I should've seen this coming. The clues are all there. The title, the cat outside in the pouring rain staring at another cat grooming herself in the window, the man from the shelter recognizing Olive that she's been there before asking about her lost cat, and her naming the cat Dawn and telling her about the original Dawn that she lost so she adopted her as a replacement. It was heart wrenching to see her head hang low as she think about Olive and her betrayal. She believed her even after she was mistreated by the previous people who got her. That's the thing with pets. They get scarred by cruel humans, humans they once thought of as their family, but once the right person comes and shows them love, patience, understanding, and care, they will open up again and trust. They won't be around long like we do, unless you have a long living pet like a turtle or a tortoise, but wouldn't it be so much happier if they'll spend the rest of their lives with a family who wants and loves them?

Also to anyone who just lost a beloved animal companion and is considering of finding a replacement that looks exactly the same, please think about it much more before going through with your decision. It might help you grieve but it might also worsen the situation. They may look the same but it's not the same pet. The differences in the personality might upset you and you might end up not wanting to interact with them, which will also hurt them in the process. Of course this is not a decision for me to make but I do hope that you will consider because this is how I ended up adopting one of my ex's cat. It's better to give yourself some space and time to grieve before opening up to another animal companion and realize that they are not a replacement, but an addition to your family. "Home is not about where you live, but where you are needed the most."

I just realized that I rambled too much LOL. Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I can finally say that despite all that I do love this game. The devs did a great job because I was really affected by the story and I was glad that this have a happy ending. I cried happy tears when Dawn (the first cat) was there by the window and led Sunrise (previously named as Dawn) to their new home with Olive. At least she finally took responsibility and decided to take care of the two cats who have bonded and became inseparable. If I'm being honest, the happy ending might leave a bad taste in your mouth because it did for me since I thought it might be better if Sunrise went to someone else but it's her wish to be with Olive, so I'm happy as long as she is happy. She also made up with Dawn and they became family.

If you are achievement hunting, it's fairly easy. Just a bit annoying that there are no chapters or save slots so if you miss one, you will have to start from the beginning. You can nail the achievement 'Ninja Kitty' easily on the first fight but if you miss that, I hope you have fast hands because it gets a bit harder on the next ones with more buttons to press in a short amount of time lol. One achievement that didn't pop for me is the very last one, the 'Marathoner' where you have to finish the game in one go. I don't know if it's a bug or pausing is not allowed because all I did was pause the game, change my FOV from narrow to wide, or sometimes wide to narrow when taking a screenshot and also pausing to check an achievement guide. So yeah, I had to play again from the start lol. Still, it's a really good game. Thank you for the emotional journey and the beautiful scenery. I do wish it was a bit longer. I'm sure you can finish it in 3 hours or less unlike me haha.

Oh, and one last thing. I won't forget what you did and attempted to do, Mae. You and the rude neighbours better lock your doors and windows or I will knock over all your things and paint your floors with "Sunrise was here".

I love going home from work, booting up this game, and starts cleaning up someone else's blood and mess while my laundry and dirty dishes are starting to stink just like the dead bodies on my basement.

Although I did not sign up for an exorcism, I love going home to Dexter, the goodest boy who's not working for a mob. Seeing his adorable smile after a tedious night's work makes it all worth it—stealing, getting rid of dead bodies, cleaning up evidences, doing all kinds of illegal ♥♥♥♥, it's all worth it. Oh yeah, I'm also working hard to earn money for my sick daughter. Well, there's that.

Anyway.

I just want to say that I am really having fun. Kovalsky's humor which involves of puns and memes makes me laugh because of the ridiculousness of his situation. He can still somehow make fun of the dead, which sounds terrible, I know, but I like how he can still think of something positive, something to lighten up the mood despite his dreadful job. He's very detached to these people, he's just there to clean, steal, and get paid LOL. But it makes sense because he is very desperate. Though I don't really care about the ill daughter (sorry not sorry) I still admire this man's determination in doing literally anything just for her. Even if that means he have to toss someone else's dead kid in the back of his truck just like a discarded mannequin.

My next assignment is 'Friendly Fire' but first, I need to clean the house before I immerse myself again in this game for hours LOL

This should come with a warning that says "If you value your friendship and relationships, do NOT play this game. But if you want to speedrun it then by all means :)" I played this with my siblings 3 weeks ago and well, we haven't spoken since. It's like we've become children again, yelling and blaming each other for every mistake. The sensible adults have "left the chat", we started slowly sabotaging each other like crabs in the bucket pulling each other down. I may be an only child from now on but it is a great game, would play again.

I appreciate the wardrobe expansion but Casper desperately needs that maid outfit more than I do :)

This just brought back so many wholesome and fond memories. My mom is turning 70 tomorrow, on Mother's Day, no less and it reminded me how much she loved this game back in the day. She have only played four games in her life—Solitaire, Pinball, Space Impact, and of course, Zuma Deluxe. She asked a tech guy to install games on her computer and out of all, this is her one and only favorite. She would play this for an hour on nights she wasn't busy, it was like Candy Crush during her era. My mom played it, your mom probably played it, my friend's mom played it, the friend of my friend's mom played it, everyone was playing it and I don't blame them, because it's very enjoyable and challenging. I remember when she was doing one of those levels where there's two skulls and the balls are a lot faster than they usually are, and it's sometimes difficult to nail combos, it's where I decided to bother her just for fun. She was on her last frog life so she failed but she didn't get mad. Instead, she made it her mission to bother me whenever she finds out I am playing games LOL. Until this day when she comes over to visit sometimes, she still does it. Talking to me when I can't even pause the game, like seriously!

Ah, so much nostalgia. Thank you for letting me reminisce the good ol' days.

"11 o'clock? Too early!"
"I'm exhausted..." "I'm excited!"

These are the same conversations I have in my head whenever I can't sleep until the early hours of the morning. That tiny yet invasive voice is always telling me to check my phone, scroll through youtube, read something in r/nosleep, reminds me of a manga/anime/novel I haven't seen or read in a while, and in this case, play a game that's been sitting on your library for a few months!!! I have my own annoying little elf in my head that suggests me to do all this stuff that I can't when I'm at work, even the things in the past that I really desperately want to forget which is why this game is very relatable to me. Thankfully it's a short one so I still manage to get some sleep after playing this. But despite being short, I really love the way the creators portrayed it as a theater because it really does seem like that, with all the thoughts jumbling in your head, you keep tossing and turning in your bed, and can't sleep.

It doesn't matter how many eyes and teeth she have, or how big she gets, or how monstrous looking she is, she is my baby girl. She is the goodest bestest doggo and the greatest thing that ever happened in this godforsaken dungeon. Moonless, you are the most meaningful and valued member of this team!

I can't believe I get to tease and bully a cute, awkward, edgy, caring, white hair, deep red eyes, anime reaper twink for FREE. I mean I'm 110% straight but no way in hells I can say no when he's all flustered and very endearing. Even going as far as calling a grown ass man "sunshine", giving me flowers, and wants to marry me in a sunflower field on a sunny day...
well babygirl I'll be your househusband for life 10/10
10000000000/10 if you drop the soul baby dlc. Please give the people what they want!!!
