I haven't reviewed this yet? Classic sci-fi RPG FPS mashup with a great story, great sound track. 10/10

Garbage. Every sample I import is distorted. They all play fine in Audacity or even my other media players like WMP/Winamp/VLC/MPC.
Unfortunate because I have an older copy of ACID that I bought from Sony and was looking forward to using a new version since I picked up guitar again.
No support. Wasted money.

Man I was so stoked for this game aaaannnnd? Checkpoint saves.
Aside from the super cheeseball voice acting and writing the game itself seems like it would be ok. But checkpoint saves... smdh /uninstall

Checkpoint saves. And bad even by typical checkpoint standards. Waste of time. I installed this game knowing there would be some bs cinematic to sit through at the beginning. No problem with that at all. I didn't have time to play but I didn't want to sit through the cinematic later so I let it run out til I got control of the player so I could just slide in later that night and get right into playing.
But Dice says nope. No checkpoint. Sit your sorry ass through all that bs again.
Full grown persons with stuffs outside of games don't have time for that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

This game is worth twice the price. A great ARPG.
The skill trees are interesting and probably my favorite of any RPG I've ever played.
Your companion is strong and valuable but not OP.
Script is EXCELLENT
Voice-acting is EXCELLENT
Music is EXCELLENT
Art is EXCELLENT
If you play RPG I would recommend
If you play ARPG it's a must have.

I will never upvote or recommend a game that doesn't allow you to save.
My first play through I didn't have a lot of time so I messed around trying to learn which character I wanted to play then after spawning in, I quit out to go run some errands. The game's firs check point doesn't even occur after you choose a character and spawn in.
A little further down this path there is the estate you are traveling to. A save checkpoint ok not too bad I guess. Ten minutes later after entering the estate and having my first encounter and first "task" given by another I quit out to get something to eat.
Come back to it? I'm way back at the beginning of entering the estate... lol wtf?
I'm not a big fan of the controls. In fact they're so borked I'm not even gonna try and describe them. Suffice to say it's not a typical HnS ARPG where you highlight somethign with the mouse and then attack it. You have to actually have the character facing it. This means you have to hold down MMB constantly in a fight. Strafing is worthless because it's not actually strafing. Pressing left or right "strafe" actually faces and moves your character to the left or right. It's a right-left movement key. Not a true strafe.
The only game series to get third person right was the first two Batman games.
Waste of money even at five bucks for the franchise pack. Complete waste.

This game needs a controller warning. The keyboard/mouse controls are ♥♥♥♥. No game is worth putting up with that. You try to turn and the mouse takes a second to "rev up" and catch up to your movement speed, and when you stop moving it keeps turning for about 1/8 to 1/4 a rotation and then slowly comes back to where you stopped. Totally disorienting when controls aren't crisp.
This is so bad it makes Deadspace controls look good by comparison.
