Valve might hide this but the gambling addiction this game imposes on both minors and adults along with the actual community in the game is disgusting. If you're not a straight man with with the sense of humor of a 15yo you will find no enjoyment talking to the mongrels who play this game as all they do is scream slurs and trash talk. It has absolutely no policing as it is festering with both cheaters, even in premium lobbies, and losers who only get enjoyment out of ruining other people's fun. All of that being said, if this game were policed properly and didn't impose a crippling gambling addiction on teenagers it would actually be pretty fun. Anyways don't play/buy this game unless you're a straight man with no morals.

This new version does wonders as a much needed free update. It adds some much needed graphical settings and an overhaul to the way it works along with new cars and features. The old gta v would explode at high settings even if you were using a nasa computer. I think almost everyone ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on it is being a huge baby wawagoogoogagashityourdiaperpants as this was not only a FREE UPDATE, NOT DLC, but additionally YOU CAN STILL PLAY THE OLD VERSION!!! It sucks that they removed online text chat sure and it super sucks that some people cant transfer their character because they got dropped money years ago, the people who are having that problem are the only people with a reasonable argument, but aside from that I think they did an obscene amount more good than bad. If they wanna add a monthly subscription then let them I actually think it's a good value. Am I gonna buy it? Hell no I hate subscriptions but it doesnt affect you if someone wants to shill out $8 for a monthly car and some cosmetics. If you wanted to get uppity about pay to win you shouldve gotten mad when shark cards were announced and people started buying menus to spawn money so wahwah. Anyways awesome update, especially since its free because most other companies wouldve tried to make this dlc to squeeze a few more bucks out of their community so props to rockstar for not being as greedy as they couldve been

This game is incredibly fun, intuitive, and a great revival of the budokai series IF you have absolutely zero interest in playing online. If you ARE interested in playing online, especially if only online, DON'T BUY IT!!!! about 80% of steam players right now cannot even load into an online match including myself. You just get a communication error right as you're about to load in and get disconnected, even in custom matches with your friends. A decade has passed and Bandai still has not produced a single game with reliable online multiplayer. Only they know when it will be fixed so we're at their mercy. I recommend just waiting a few months to buy it and maybe they'll have it fixed. All of that aside this game has problems like spamming AI and some bugs but nothing that would make me say the game isn't worth buying if the online worked. Do buy if it gets fixed :D

literally impossible to play online. it just crashes everytime on the loading screen

I really wanted this game to be good, and it is in some aspects, but I just can't recommend this game with a clear conscience. The Sonic franchise has always struggled to find an identity from going to Camelot to being a Werehog; however, I think that it finally found its identity in this game. This is a great start to the future of Sonic games and I sincerely hope they build off of this game but in and of itself it's just an incomplete game. There's a constant reuse of textures throughout the entire game and it feels like there's a significant lack of new content the further you get into the game between the last few worlds just being different versions of the first few to recycled areas, enemies, and other various content from previous titles in the Sonic franchise and where it does provide a great feeling of nostalgia when doing so it lacks the content that a completely new game should contain; especially when the only good games of the franchise that have come out in the last decade are remasters of previously loved titles. The amount of pop-in in the game is horrendous as well and completely ruins any immersion the game provided. The graphics in it, even when playing at max, feel like your playing on a last-gen console; even in the cutscenes. It feels like the got it prepared for the switch then just ported that version over to the other consoles and pc which is absolutely unacceptable. The pace of the game is completely unbalanced as you get every skill far before you get anywhere NEAR max level. And while the boss fights are immaculate, the mechanics of them are clunky and aren't not even replayable without mods. The physics in the game are also very rough around the edges and do not feel right when trying to go up slopes or climb anything. Not to mention the camera controls can be very annoying and nauseating for some as it forces itself to move, even when you resist it, a lot throughout the game. The 2d levels all feel very recycled and are hard to even individualize after you do them all. This game is awful at worst and mediocre at best. It's just incomplete. I feel as though its getting an incredible amount of positive attention because its an interesting concept and often compared to Breath of The Wild, a very beloved title by many. Not to mention its the first not absolutely horrendous new title we've gotten out of the franchise in over a decade. This game is a great beginning for a new era of sonic but its just a skeleton. A great skeleton, but still a skeleton. This game seriously needed a delay that it did not receive. I cannot wait to see the Sonic game that follows this and here's to hoping that Sega puts in the time required to make it rather than trying to push an incomplete product out before Christmas. I do not recommend this game unless it goes on sale for $30 or less but it is certainly not worth $60. (For clarification on my 1hr of playtime I played through all of this game on Xbox and got it on PC to see it it was any better and it was not) Make sure to have a good day and that you remember to drink lots of water!
