LOTS of little bugs here and there, but mostly visuals and nothing game breaking. Often can be fixed with reloading last checkpoint. Solid game, great story.

why it free?

Campaign is the best in the genre, soundtrack is amazing, and atmosphere is immersive. Bosses feel like actual bosses and their design/mechanic is extremely well done. It's everything you could ask for in an ARPG. However, the difficulty scaling as of early access is atrocious. Cruel difficulty during campaign is significantly easier than normal due to your build being established by this point. One death per map is too unforgiving and is really discouraging. Getting random one shot will never be fixed so just have to accept it. I wish GGG would just scrap on death effects. 9 times out of 10 when I die playing melee it's from on death effects that overlap and just nuke the ♥♥♥♥ out of you. Good luck avoiding those when you have maps with ground effects.

Perfectly balanced between COD and realistic milsim. The AIs that are impressively smart yet sometimes straight up big dumb. My only complaint is the janky loadout system. It is so easy to accidentally overwrite stuff in the preset or simply just doesn't save at all. Otherwise, good game to co-op and chill.

Flush to win (I cannot win)

I'm a bit tardy to the party, but this is such a good game. The little cutscenes are such a treat. Who doesn't love slaughtering the marine life population as a fat man? A majestic Greenland shark that's been around for centuries? Absolutely not. Kill it and make sushi out of it.

Great sci-fi story, very Stranger Things like. Combat QTE felt super dookie, as sometimes directions can get a bit confusing. Definitely play it in CHRONOLOGICAL mode, don't be like me and choose the other mode and get all confused because the story jumps around too damn much. By the last chapter I couldn't tell where the hell I was chronologically because me big dumb. Would still recommend it, but play it with a controller.

The first game is obviously better, but still a decent sequel. It's more of a walking simulator and slower pace than the first one, with fewer cool fights unfortunately. I thought the post credit scene was a bit cheesy lol

This absolute psychological horror of a game is the perfect ingredient to producing serotonin for your monkey brain while watching brainrot YouTube videos on your second monitor.
