Interesting idea, cool presentation, but the story unfolds in a way that starts making less and less sense as it goes, and some twists and reveals make the world feel smaller rather than larger.

Do check it out if you're curious, but don't expect it to be a master piece of any sorts.

Very fun and interesting game, we completed the first playthrough in a single sitting.

The game highly suggests to use a controller, but it doesn't really matter, unfortunately the controls can not be remapped, but they are not in terrible default postions, you only need to move (arrows or wasd), to jump (x or space) and to grab things (z or enter) so it's pretty comfortable.

You do need two copies of the game and an active communication, each player has its own perspective of the puzzles, and some parts will be really hard to solve without talking.

If you do a 2nd playthrough you'll be assigned opposing sides, and will get a bit more info on the ending. There's also a "3rd playthough" which doesn't actually go over the entire game, it just adds an extra scene which may or may not help clearing things up.

If I have to think about the bad things of this game it would be the following:
- The story takes a while to properly pick up its pace, but once the main twist is in the table you really want to know how it ends.
- The dungeons are all very long, which isn't necessarily bad, but it feels a little overwhelming, maybe if the same puzzles were spread out across more dungeons it would feel a little better?
- Some bosses feel a bit like damage sponges.
- Controller is not fully remapable, you can use Steam Input but there's no reason the game shouldn't let you. I recommend keyboard and mouse for this game, however, there's a lot of aiming that's better on a mouse than on a standard controller.

That out of the way, I loved this game and finished the entire thing in less than a month, the characters are very nice and the story is interesting. The soundtrack is great, the visuals are beautiful and there's a lot of little details that show this was made with a nice amount of passion. There's also a big amount of Quality of Life when it comes to the quest system and travelling around places.

If you like RPGs, I think this is a must play.

Do you like repeating things when they go way too wrong? Do you enjoy painful games with potentially unfair mechanics? Do you enjoy being punished for not knowing things? Do you like to play an RTS with no controls or UI to actually play an RTS? Do you enjoy games without QoL? Are you a masochist?

Then maybe this game is for you, sure there are bugs here and there, and questionable game design choices, but it's such an amazing concept and the story actually gets pretty interesting once the game really really starts (after day 21).

It took me 120 hours to finish this thing, part of it was suffering, part of it was amazing, I don't really know what to say.

Nice game, it lasts about 2 hours on one playthrough and because of how the 2-player mechanic works, you can replay it by switching roles and picking an option that will give you different solutions to the puzzles, but they are still very similar solutions so it's mostly so both see the experience on the other side.

Still fun, I do wish it was a bit longer.

The gyro is great for FPS games, but the trackpads are awesome, they are very customizable, it's a shame that the defaults suck, but if you really get to it they can do a ton of different things and really replace left stick, d-pad and mouse and actually don't feel bad thanks to the haptics (you may need to tweak the haptics further for better d-pad and left stick feel).

I wish Valve released another controller with trackpad focus, just improving the tech part of it, with softer bumpers and better feeling buttons, but keep the feature set that's already in-place, including the dual stage triggers that were removed on the deck.

If you're like me in 2022 and never played this game, it's still pretty solid and the main modes still have people playing on them all the time, lots of fun, and the add-ons through the steam workshop also give you more replayability and random non-sense.

The game is fine and I did enjoy it, but there's a handful of issues that I have with the game (some more trivial than others) and Steam doesn't have a "thumbs middle" option so:

1.- I ran into two different softlocks, the game has a Reload button on the menu which solved one of them but it glitched the music, the other softlock was more serious and only fixed itself after several restarts, there was a report about it from a year ago but it hasn't been fixed it seems.

2.- The game doesn't have any form of frame limit nor vsync, so it will just run at hundreds of FPS for no good reason, don't you love toasty graphic cards?

3.- The keyboard controls suck, and there's no way to change them, all games should have remapable controls. Controller bindings are ok though.

4.- The credits can not be skipped, but the post-credits cutscene will be skipped if you are mashing buttons when the credits end.

5.- Despite being tagged as a puzzle game, there's only one real puzzle in the game, which also isn't particularly hard and can just be bruteforced if you miss the hints to solve it.

6.- The animal that appears in the artwork of the game doesn't really play a role in the story, it's only there in the transitions and at the very end.

7.- The art style, while great, does make it hard to distinguish which platforms allow you to go down, not the biggest issue but still something that happened relatively often.

I liked the aesthetics and the world is interesting, the music fits nice and the atmosphere is great.

The story feels like it could be taken further, more explanation of the world would have been nice. There's some interpretation about what's going on the main character, but regardless, it makes it hard to put yourself into her skin after some stuff that happens in the game.

Chaotic fun, the more people the more fun and chaos, some levels can be a bit frustrating though, still, great for parties.

On the downside, the keyboard controls are awkward and you can NOT change bindings, though controllers can be split for two players in one control.

Fun idea, but the map design makes up for a rather frustrating experience for a new player, you can have fun with your friends as long as they don't find it frustrating either.

The maps are filled with "freeze" tiles in positions that will get you softlocked, sure, your friend could help you, if he wasn't frozen too, forcing you to restart the map all over again which will get tiring sooner than later. The community does seem friendly and will help you, but still.
