This game used to be incredible, however with such a small, isolated community comes toxic players.

This game is unapproachable for new and returning players, as the bots do not offer a significant challenge and matchmaking lobbies are filled with players who have simply been playing the game longer than you. There is no skilled matchmaking, so picking up and learning this game is just not worth the mental effort.

Sadly, Atari won't be able to revive a game reliant on its online, when new player hostility is this bad.

Imagine not only ruining the DLC, but ruining the base game as well.

Brilliant game and satisfies that 'tism itch.

It's not Cube World anymore. Fun for a few hours, until you realise it's the same thing over and over again with no progression, goal or endgame.

What you do in the first hour of the game is exactly the same thing you'll be doing in the 1000th, same skills, same weapons, same monotonous slog for mobility items, but at least you'll be able to hold your breath underwater 2% longer.

A game that tries to do so much but fails at every hurdle.
With such a big scope the game can soft-lock anytime, anywhere, after a good 20 hours the game hard-locked me in a room which I couldn't escape from.
The difficulty curve is also stupid for a modern game, going from easy to using as many items as possible just to stay alive.
I want to like this game but Arkane Studios have failed to deliver. Don't play this game unless you like having your game soft/hard-locked.
