One of the best-worst games I've played, great experience, just don't approach it if you aren't prepared for a little mental anguish

Good puzzles, cool world, unique mechanics

It's good.

Cute style, cute demons, good music, decently challenging puzzles, secret ending, and it's FREE. Go play it.

This game pulls off the sense of wonder and exploration that I love so well. If you played Breath of the Wild and had marathon sessions where you kept exploring new areas as you stumbled across new and interesting things that you wanted to investigate, then you'll have a similar experience with this game. Rather than physical landmarks you see on the horizon, however, this game encourages you to explore thanks to the information you find, and new hints that you uncover. It's equal parts detective game and puzzle game, where you try to piece together what this place is all about, while at the same time discovering rules for how the universe works that you didn't know existed. Outer Wilds heavily rewards curiosity and is full of eureka moments; even without talking about the stellar world-building, atmosphere, and amazing soundtrack, that alone is enough to make it one of my favorite video games. The biggest flaw the game has is that I'll be done with it soon.

Rarely does a game make me feel like my brain doesn't work like this one manages to do

If you like Castlevania you'll like this game. The art style and cutscenes aren't great, but the gameplay is solid

It's like The Sims if everyone was a psychopath by default instead of being raised that way

If you don't play this game, you're doing yourself a disservice.

All I did was mix drinks and talk to people but I can't get enough of it.
